If venusaur had 2 attack cost instead of 3 it would be a good card. The favoritism with Charizard is real.

Venomoth is lowkey the best grass card in rotation. It may not always be the MVP, but the games where it single-handedly stops the opponent from being able to do anything all game are priceless. Looking forward to seeing you try it with the new Torterra ex. Seems like a fun deck with low energy requirements.

Blastoise ex with Maximum Belt Ace Spec is gonna be nuts. 330 damage for 2 energy and the opponent has to do 360 to 1-shot you.

Thank you for this! I've been wanting to build a venusaur deck but didn't know where to start. After watching your video, I created one and it's been awesome! I also added Pidgeot to the team and he is a must for helping to setup that Venusaur. In the meantime, Venomoth just stalls like a king! Love the deck. It completely destroys Charizard decks!!! And it even holds it's own vs. Roaring moon decks and even Voltorb poison decks. Thank you so much for helping me with the team. Again, Pidgeot is a must in your team!

I'm currently trying to make Venusaur work so I'll definitely give it a try with Venomoth. However though, what has been working for me using the Rotom V and Pidgeot EX engine and it seems to work well. Feel free to give it a shot. I ran venusaur ex deck, not only it does lack in damage, it does slow to accelerate 3 energy required just to do the puny damage. Most of my trouble is either it to slow to evolve or to slow to accelerate energy meanwhile charz ex can do both of it and only required 2 energy. Sigh im worried how torterra ex gonna perform next

@@Harpuiaa He does a lot more than that. He's Tera typed in a way that his actual deck type even counters the type that counters his Tera type. Because he uses Fire energy it makes it hard to counter him with Grass decks, which are already pretty bad, because he can easily slot a generic Fire type attacker and ramp it in response to a Grass pokemon. Y'know assuming his attack hasn't reached the point where it will just oneshot w/e is threatening him anyway. Because it has a built in comeback mechanic too, because the card was intentionally pushed as hard as it could be.

@@WhipLash42o You're absolutely right. But the Tera type was so Charizard can 1HKO Mew VMax. And also Gardevoir ex but mostly to push it as a counter to Mew VMax decks. Being able to slot in anothe fire attacker in to handle grass types is neat. But Grass pokemon are already so irrelevant to the meta that most Charizard decks have dropped any of the potential fire attackers like Entei V because they aren't needed. And the handful that do get teched into meta decks like Tropius with supereffective glasses or Iron Leaves ex are already easy enough to KO that hitting them for Weakness doesn't really change the prize trades. That being said, IF we ever got a meta viable grass deck (Please let Ogrepon be good!), then yeah Charizard ex decks would likely start putting a fire attacker back into the deck to answer it.

I play venomoth in a spidops ex and I’ve found that opponents can get so wrapped up in hating the card that they swing for it when they shouldn’t. 😈 More wins for me!

That’s why I play alolan eggsecutor V to provide energy but with the insane amount of charizard EX in play grass is a terrible type to play although you can one shot charizard with a venassaur arcanine is always ruining it.

Item lock was very toxic. May not does damage, but many times you gain huge time from set up. Usually the item lock was not the main attacker, but is still toxic.

it always feels like a mistake to play a stage 2 deck and not be running Pidgeot EX as your engine. Especially if you're already running Ultras/Nests to turbo into it.

these vids feel so biased, first match opponent is bricked and concedes, second match is a dumb zard player who doesn''t read the cards and throws, third was a concession due to Toedscruel when you could actually had a difficult and interesting game? Last game was a crash? Also, almost every single confusion coin was flipped tails... I don't think poeple would mind watching matches where you lost as long as the matches were actually good man...
