When I track my habits, some of them are not a do/don't do. For example, I want to read for 30 mintes every day, but some days I only read for 22 minutes. Can I track my goals/habits that way on your system? I want to buy your template, but I'm worried that I will not like the way it tracks goals. **Other goals, like fitness, I merely want to check yes/no.**
Can you please tell me, if I pre-order the template, after payment I will also be given access to the beta version of the template or will I have to wait until the end of September to try it out?

After 3rd time attempt pay link was active and i was able to purchase. Anyways, i got the notion template. Eagerly waiting for Guided videos as i am not a master at notion 😊. When do we expect the guided videos to be shared to us ? I got a positivity by your videos to have a stress free life using notion 😊
Great info and I was so interested in seeing your info but the editing with all the jumping around makes it soo very difficult to see what is going on. I think you call these jump cuts. You show me a notion page on the screen then after 2 seconds jump to your hand holding the phone with notion open but then immediately scroll down the phone screen. I can’t really digest anything without having to pause or set my video to .5 speed. I understand if you are trying to keep something a secret, due to selling it as a product that doesn’t seem to be your true goal here though. I do want to thank you for your videos I really do appreciate them I’m a baby Notion user haven’t done more than use other peoples templates but am starting a new venture and your Life OS might be exactly what I need if I can get just see it haha
I love this new BETA template; thanks as always Simon. I reckon it would be awesome if we could track our deep work sessions using the timer buttons (much in the same way you’ve done for the workout session). And then use a chart to see how much time each of our tasks or projects has taken us. Just a thought!!
Fantastic Video - I am BRAND new to Notion so starting at zero. I will check out your other videos - but do you ever transfer (or link) Digital Notes for long term P.A.R.A storage from an E-Ink device - like Remarkable 2? I have an IPAD but simply do NOT like the “feel” of taking business meeting notes on the glass - even with PaperLike screen protector. Hence I am looking at either the Remarkable or the Boox 10.3 Go to replace my paper notebook (business meetings) and then wanting to transfer for archival to Notion… THANKS
I purchased the BETA system and saw that the Workout Tracker that is sold separately is different from the one that is embedded in the Life OS template. Please make them the same, the one sold separately is visually nicer and at first glance more convenient. Thanks in advance!
Thanks for downloading… but as far as I’m aware There is no difference…? It could be positioning of the charts? Or that you don’t have access to charts? Don’t have a pro plan. I promise it is a copy and paste version - but the life os has the main menu included that will be an additional navigation element…
@@BetterCreating No, the charts are fine! I'm talking about the colors, purple + light gray + green look nicer than red + pink + green + purple, too many colors, it creates visual noise. Maybe it's just my feelings, in any case thanks for listening!
@@ЮлияОсипук-п6ь Ah OK: yes - following feedback on the Life OS: I decided to colour code the menus and dashboards in the larger system for easier identification. Easy to fix if you want to - just change the icons for a uniform colour you prefer. :)
PLEASE send feedback to RU-vid so that they stop displaying the "suggested next videos" in the middle of the current video (preventing us to see the current video). And ask them to put that back to the end of the video.
@@BetterCreatingI think someone at RU-vid had the stupid false good idea to move the "suggested next videos" you configure from the end of the video to, I guess, the point in time where the most people quit the video (i.e. trying to maximize retention). For this video, it's towards the end (meaning it's a good content 😉👏). And therefore, you look stupid at the end saying "check this video" and pointing something that isn't there anymore. And so, if we're interested in the video you're suggesting us, we can't click to watch it because it's not there. And of course, when that "suggestions" layer is displayed in the middle of the video, it prevents us from seeing the actual content of the current video. It's so stupid I don't even understand how this has made its way into production!
Great Video! But does the fitness tracker include a database to chart your weight and body measurements? if not that would be something to add. As well as a meal planner or a place to chart what you eat like with how much protein or macros you are watching. Thanks

@@BetterCreating I just downloaded it and it’s truly amazing! I like the improved way the notebooks and life areas are organised in this version. As I am using it I am wondering if as part of final documentation you can share how the small building blocks (eg notes and tasks) like to the bigger organising elements (eg projects, life areas, resources etc.) I am still figuring out the relationships but good stuff!!
Creative! And very useful! .. I noticed that to-do, tasks, goals, projects, systems are connected. Can you please show us in another video, the connection between the databases ( relationships) . Like, if I want to apply the same for my notion I will follow your video .
Thanks! Yes indeed - it uses the relations database: please see my Notion from scratch build series or my recent video on getting started in Notion with the thumbnail that has ‘goodbye overwhelm’ on it. Plenty of tutorials for this on my channel :)
Hey Simon, How did you get the related databases (which you use to select the related Project/Life Area etc) to show beneath the database properties in a neat little row? I do something similar (based on August Bradley’s PPV System) but your layout is much prettier. Thanks!
Great system. One question (maybe silly)- if we sign up for the life is 2024 beta and put in all our info….when the final version comes out will we have to recreate everything?

Thanks: yes essentially: you could likely simply do a big move to and send things over - but it would probably mess with all the relations: so would probably want to hold a little before putting all your data into it. So I would suggest downloading the Beta for 3 reasons: 1. best price I can offer, 2. feedback on it's development, 3. play with this version and get earliest access to the final one in a few weeks or so :)

I’ve made a massive build-along series for those who want to keep their data in same place: essentially: import all the trackers and then rebuild your tasks, projects, areas notes and knowledge in line with what I’ve done. With a ton of reflection: this is the best option. There is no clean way to move data from one version to another without breaking and re making all the relations!
This is THE SYSTEM for people who complain that Notion is complicated. It’s so clean and aesthetically pleasing, while doing exactly what it needs to. Kudos to you for your hard work!
