It's so refreshing to see a video of a new born set up that is so practical and not just one long advert for outrageously expensive baby products! Congratulations 🎊!!

So happy for you, Mumma Bryony! I’ve followed your pregnancy journey from the start, and was actually also pregnant with my first, also a boy, at the same time (due 2 days before you!). I ended up delivering 10 days early via spontaneous labour - it was amazing. My active labour was 2 hours, and an unmedicated water birth. I hope your experience was just as fulfilling ❤

I'm currently 36wks +6days and panicking I'd not enough stuff for baby (been buying most things from Gumtree/Vinted) it's a breath of fresh air to see a realistic set up, not a money pit nursery tour. A 'going home outfit' has been niggling at my brain non stop since packing our hospital bags, my sensible heads thinking "he'll be in a baby grow Rachel!" But then I'm seeing all these purposes bought boutique type outfits people buy for 'going home'... probably never to be worn again. So I've opted for a little baby grow (one of my few bought new) and a cute little dandelion knitted pramsuit (acquired from Vinted) 🤷🏻‍♀️ Like the shelf idea as a bedside table won't really work with my next to me👌 Loving you and baby's fb posts 😍🥰

Congratulations on your baby!!! So practical! That’s all we pretty much need! Diapers, breast/formula and a few clothing changes. They grow out of it so fast! 😅

So cute! Thanks for sharing! I love the sink in the bedroom, I wish I had one too. Luckily, with my first baby the barthroom was near our bedroom and I could really feel the difference with my second baby (and pregnant trips to the loo too) with the bathroom being on the ground floor. I literally have to walk out of my bedroom, then landing, stairs, landing, stairs, along the corridor, through the kitchen, a small hall and finally the bathroom!

Definitely practical! Comfort and ease is key! Guarantee you’ll be just changing him on the bed though still half asleep in the middle of the night 😂

Careful using an antiseptic as a diaper cream. It's kills bad bacteria but also good bacteria. Gave my son yeast infections this way with my first. ❤️

In the US we do not have pseudocreme! My husband/ his family is in England. When my MIL visited she suggested the creme. But of course we don't have it. So she mailed us some once she went back. So sweet. It is great for baby's bottoms.

Some of these are nice names. I planned on calling my son Victor all my pregnancy but when we actually met I couldn’t name him that and I decided to call him Vincent. It suits him so well and I love the nicknames Vinny, Vince, vin. He hates his name and wants to be called axel now haha😢

I'm in the USA and we don't have sudeocreme. I have to pay a ton on ebay to get it 😢.

What if the sperm donor is a psychopath or really unintelligent or impulsive? The kid will inherit that.
