I don’t think you can, Girocard don’t works for online payments, you use Mastercard/Visa card

Why am I not surprised? My husband and I paid €250 each in Berlin to get our passports that same day, and it was heartbreaking, I must say.

Yup! I do not get why something like that is allowed. If truly people should be charged such high fees, then they should state it clearly on the website. Imagine paying 250 EUR each, that's 500 EUR unexpectedly. The system needs to change urgently.

Thanks for this information. I’m currently having a problem filling the online application. When I entered my passport number to begin the process, the webpage says the information provided by me is not correct. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do? Thanks.

Hmm! That’s a bit tricky, since we do not know anyone who experienced something similar. How many times did this happen? Maybe it could be a simple technical error from the website. If you have already tried several times with the same error and are sure that you entered your details correctly, then maybe you could join our community and ask members of the group. Thank you for the video🙏. For the "Payment by Card" can one pay with a Girocard ( I have a Postbank account) or must i have a Visa or a Mastercard? Must i pay with my Bankcard (with my name on it) or can a relative also pay for me?

There’s no official information on the website about when/if you can get it on the same day. What was explained in the video is most likely going to be what you can expect.
