Great video man, very personal collection. I will check those games someday, never had access to Nintendo games growing up (going from Genesis to PSX) but i’ve been catching up. Bought a SNES recently 😂
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoy my rambling 😂 That's so exciting! I'm actually jealous of you for getting to experience these nintendo games for the first time! It's a similar story for me except the other way around. I didn't experience anything Sony for most of my childhood years, so I've been looking into Playstation 1,2, and PSP recently. The SNES is super great! Expensive, but that system is the definition of quality. Super Mario RPG is the next SNES game on my list!
Link's Crossbow Training is a pretty good pack in, but I do remember getting a copy of Star Fox 64 with my Rumble Pak....lol. Right there with ya on Fragile Dreams though. The controls can be a bit jank sometimes, but damn if it isn't one of my absolute favorites. I liked the opening theme so much I tracked down an mp3 of it.
I actually never owned a Wii, but when I bought the Wii U, imagine the cheap backlog I had access to at the time, lol. Anyways, some of my favorites were: Fragile Dreams, Xenoblade Chronicles, Pandora's Tower, The Last Story, Excite Truck, Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, Sin and Punshiment: Star Successor, Opoona, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, New Play Control Pikmin. One more that was in a bit of a weird position release wise was Rodea the Sky Soldier. It came out on Wii U, but it came packed with a Wii version. This was a game made by Yuji Naka who is credited as the co-creator of Sonic. It was supposed to be a Wii game, but lots of stuff delayed it, so they decided to make a Wii U version, but the thing is, the Wii version was Yuji Naka's vision, and it was actually wayyy better than the Wii U version, so I guess it counts.
Nah, Link's crossbow training is WAY better. Just kidding 😂 It really is amazing isn't it? I also remember downloading MP3s of the soundtrack! The opening song really is amazing. I really would love for them to do a remaster of this and really refine the gameplay experience!
@@TotemoGaijin Pandoras tower and The Last story are my two most desired games for the Wii. I REALLY want to experience those two RPGs. Especially the last story. I'm honestly surprised they haven't received some sort of port since then since they really do seem to be cult classics! I actually own Rodea! I haven't played it though since mine is still sealed... Planning on buying a loose copy at some point though since I've heard really great things about the Wii version! I really didn't love the Wii growing up, but as I've aged I've found that the system really does hold its own!
