As A muslim who was born in a Muslim family. Even with the blessing of being introduced to Islam in a really young age my parents unfortunately couldn’t clarify the purpose of my existence through Islam as they were not scholars of religion. But this video of Prof. Jeffery Lang truly helped me understand the beginning of understanding our existence. And this video became one of my favorite things on the internet.

I am a born muslim and went to islamic school, I have read the verse over and over and yet I never understood it that deep... Always amaze me hearing stories of reverts and how most of them understand Islam more than me... make me jealous sometimes

I broke down into tears after his explanation of the Angels bowing down to Adam AS, and haven't been able to stop crying since. I never understood those verses in such manner until now. This was such a beautiful interpretation. May Allah guide and protect us all ❤️

Jeffrey Lang only discussed from the translation of those verses, that 1 famous page.. But when one understands Quranic Arabic, that one page, wow.. there's a LOT more to it, A LOT MORE.. Dig in to the root word of "khalifah", "haaula-i", " 'azzala", and you'll find GEMS... and even there's a lot more to that page.. just amazing.

I did not hear this perspective from any other of the Islamic scholars. This gave me a new insight and understanding of Islam, Allah, and why we are here on earth or this life.

This is a wonderful scene of a father & son bonding time...how both of them listened & discussed a fundermental topic about the creation of man from the verses that Allah revealed in the Quran.

Watched the video of Jeffrey Lang countless times. And everytime i watched it, it gives me goosebumps.

Every human being is gifted by the Almighty Creator with a tool to detect wrong and right accurately. When we tell lies then the "Heart" really knows what we say is a lie. When we steal or rob, the "Heart" really knows that we are making a mistake. But unfortunately many people ignore and do not want to listen to the voice of their "heart". Because of the desires of greed and anger of hatred, many people are not aware that they are deceiving and torturing themselves.

I have watched this professor video more than twice. Every time I watched his lecture, I was blown away with the greatness of Allah. Subhanallah..

Today we buried a friend of mine, was feeling low, and during maghrib prayer this lecture came to mind, reminding me of my purpose as I reflected on the shortness of this life! I had no idea I would listen to it again with this family! May God guide us all to the straight path.
