I’ve heard from lots of folks that Britney’s memoir was fury-inducing…rightly so, I would say, not having read it yet

It always cracks me up that Suzanne Collins did both Hunger Games *and* little bear. But also, what is it with Stephen King and writing s*x with adolescents. Like I still can’t figure out why they had to all do it in IT. Did not make sense. I tried to watch Saltburn, but made it about two minutes in and it was very quickly not for me 🫣

Suzanna Collins is a master at her craft! And YES!! I really hate how much it comes up in his writing. Similarly with the Outsider, the plot worked just as well if the kids were simply disappearing/murdered. There was no need for defiling them on top of it. Really just makes me uncomfortable. Even my husband made a comment about this as soon as it came up. I watched it before I started seeing all the social media about it, my husband was like "oh hey, let's watch this movie" so I had NO idea what I was getting into and I also realized it was not for me. But unfortunately i thought it was going to be a thriller so I was waiting for shit to start happening and then I played the genre guessing game until the bathtub scene and, although I still finished the movie, I should have known then that it was going to be dissatisfying lol
