Good morning Anne, it’s so fun to catch up with you! Thank you for keeping me company as I get ready for work! Also, yay for meeting gauge 🥳 from a fellow loose knitter, this is wonderful!
Your knitted items are so lovely. I am impressed with the amount of knitting you get finished. It seems to take me forever just to finish a little scarf. 😊
Hi Anne, you do what makes you happy, I love how you can make so many garments, I’ve been knitting for over 60years and can’t knit as quick as you, think I’m getting slower with age 😂😂, but I keep going, another great podcast, looking forward to your next one,
Hi Anne! Your cardigan is excellent and suits you very well. I do like the buttons you chose, it does give a grandfather vibe. And it's really nice to see your excitement about meeting gauge, I was smiling to myself when I saw it! I also liked your cactus, to say the truth for a long time I thought it was real, only when you displayed it up close did I realize that it was knitted! You can make your own small garden with these things, there are many many patterns, I believe most are crochet, but all really cute! (now I have to buy green yarn, don't I ... 😅)
Thank you so much 🥰 I was really proud about getting correct gauge😂 Ohh, a garden of knitted/crochet flowers is what I need 😍 Have a wonderful weekend☕️🧶
Oh the cacti!! So adorable 🥰🥰 Oh I feel exactly the same, when it comes to feeling overwhelmed in a yarn shop. The first time I went to one in Berlin after learning to knit, I was so excited, but once I got there I was so stressed and had major indecision paralysis. It's not much better even now, but it does help if I'm not being hurried up by my husband or time restraints 🤣 Thank you for a lovely episode ☺️🧶
Hi Anne! Welcome back after summer holidays and happy podiversairy 🎉 I’m catching up with you sitting inside hiding from the incredible heat outside. I am still working on the project I started back in Portugal where we were for our holidays this year. I am doing one repeat per day on my Lamina wrap and looking at the last little nugget I have left, it could well be I#ll be finished tomorrow 😊 I’ll keep everybody posted on my Instagram. Looking forward to your next episode
Your summer tops are all so beautiful! The one you're wearing looks amazing on you. Like it was designed just for you 😍 I have never knitted a lilykate pattern but I really like the look of your last tee.. I may have to try some of her patterns out at last ☺️ But then I also like the middle tee and am contemplating how to do it on my machine 🤣 I'm only 19 minutes in so I'll continue watching whilst seaming a bit later x
Dear Anne, thanks for your podcast episodes, I love listening and watching, such inspiration! 😊 Regarding your tweedy cotton yarn, I have recently made the Sabai top by Susanne Müller, and I love the fit. I believe the yardage may just fit for your yarn. All the best from Northern Germany, Wiebke
Wow, you knit so much and on such small needles 😅 I can't believe it! 😂 I love how you knit the same garments if you liked the pattern, I always tend to knit something new... Regarding that top and Erica Knight yarn, I would check other projects, how much of yarn other knitters used. I would even try knitting on slightly larger needles, but smaller size. In that case you could achieve the same measurements as intended for your size.
Thank you 🥰 And thank you for the tip about looking at the ravlery projects of other knitters. I did that and it seems like I can get away with the yardage I have🤗 So thank you again 😊
