I remember when Womanity came out and I was so surprised to smell a salty/sweet and briny perfume; not at all for me. As a result, Mugler perfumes never really were on my radar especially as Angel seemed like it was more for the younger women. Never the less, I had recently bought Aura and it is totally for me. I reminds me of the movie Avatar and is definitely other worldly and a bit strange but I love it. Thank you! oxJulia

While watching your video I decided to look up the bath code on my Angel, which I purchased used. It's my only Mugler. Turns out it's eleven and a half years old! I never would have guessed!

I have so many scents from T. Mugler. More then from any other brand. When it comes to Aura EDP I just couldn't cope with the "rotten" aspect in the scent, so I decluttered that one. But I was actually sad letting it go, so one year after that, I purchased the EDT version, and I am so glad I did :) Aura is so unique, and the EDT version is an Aura I can enjoy wearing, and even find myself craving the smell of sometimes. It is light green, a little more fruity and with no sense of moist, dark green decay. It is the smell of the less dense, less moist and dark area of the jungle where rays of the sun still reach the ground 😊

Totally agree, the EDT version is also less challenging and lighter version of Aura. I gifted it to my sister and left Sensuelle for myself.

Yes! Womanity is gorgeous. I'm so bummed that I don't have it anymore, used it all up. And yes, the fig note is exactly as my parents' fig trees. If I walk by them, I sometimes think of this fragrance. The description you gave is on point. It's metallic (which I never thought of liking), aquatic (the only fragrance where I like the water notes), salty, figgy deliciousness. High quality too. I miss it dearly.

Nice background of Tierry Mugler. I knew he died recently but I didn’t know he was a ballet dancer! Myself and my daughter trained in ballet, so I love it very much. I haven’t really delved into his fragrances. The only ones I’ve smelled are Alien (just a sample, I liked) and Alien Fusion Man which I bought for my son, trying to get him into something more mature than Lynx!! 🤣🙄. We both liked that. I definitely need to investigate more Tierry Mugler fragrances in the future.

Thierry Mugler was a "warrior" with a balley dancer soul. His fashion glorified femininity and balley costume silhouettes in a very provocative manner. He was an extraordinary person indeed...

I agree that Mugler creates the most artistic and sometimes challenging/polarizing designer fragrances. Womanity has to be my favorite of his, but Alien and it’s flankers are close behind it. I also think that Womanity is addictive. It’s so fresh and interesting. I’ve never smelled the Miroir line, but would like to.

I love Angel Muse also! I adore that grapefruit in the opening! And I have the EDT also tI don’t like it as much. I also have Angel EDT and EDP but I only wear the EDT. And I have the oud and musc Aliens:-). And Womanity. I think my favorite designer frags are Chanel still. I wore #5 exclusively for 25 years and I have recently started wearing it again occasionally. But Le Lion is my love this year, and #19.. I need to get more exclusive but I just love the elegance of Chanel.

Thank you for sharing this video. I'm a big big fan of Thierry Mugler as a person, a creator, and as a perfume brand. I totally agree with you that he was way ahead of the time, we lost a visionary too soon. I absolutely love Angel but I'm also an Alien woman. It's my scent of today 😊 there is something mystical about this perfume that when I smell it the first time I had the same reaction as you. I thought I know this one, it smells of me. I adore it. My husband is very very peaky with perfumes and he loves it on me. For me it's a plus 😁 the way that I experience the most of Alien is when I'm in a summer destination after a day at the beach, after shower and lotion apply just 2 or 3 sprays on the warm skin, it's just magical. On my skin it sings like an opera singer when the warm sea breeze hits. Absolutely magical. Have you try it in the summer? I adore it. Thank you for the effort and time making this video. A big hug from Portugal. 😘🤗
