You know when you have to take off your shoes even at parties that you are with Surinamese. Turks also take off their shoes. Walking with shoes in a house is forbidden, especially in Surinam.
@@aussiestallion69 wow I didn't realize people actually scroll down the comments and look for a way to be negative!! log out of youtube and go clean your room :')
Lollll you sound very unhappy and insecure. I travel full time to work with tourism boards, which means I’ve stayed in some of the best properties in the world, yet I‘d still never knock someone for their own interpretation of “beautiful.” My apartment is amazing. There’s no need to compare. I hope you find peace with yourself.
JLINHH my comment was related to the apartment being one of the most beautiful ever, of course you have a vested interest and emotion tied up as it’s your apartment and that’s fine. But someone saying ‘literally’ the most beautiful ever is an exaggeration, any reasonably well travelled person who has a wide experience of apartment and house design would likely agree even allowing for differences in taste or definitions of beauty. If the comment had been just that’s a lovely apartment then I concur. Also I’m neither unhappy or insecure.
Congrats on everything! I've watched you ever since you were in the Bay area. It's amazing watching how you've evolved in your style and career. Keep doing your thing!
So nice!! I can't believe it's a NYC apartment lol. It's so spacious!! I saw that Target chair too - because I needed a nook chair for our bedroom. I got a pushback recliner instead :)
Girl, I freaking LOVE this apartment tour. I'm currently looking for my first long-term place after traveling for 2 years and I can't wait to buy my own stuff, decorate and create my own little home. I'm always excited to watch your videos. The way you talk is just so real and authentic and this platform have been lacking A LOT of authenticity. You truly deserve more views. Keep up the great work!
Have no idea what you and your bf do for a living but you seem to be making some coin. The apartment in very nice, however you guys went super cheap on the furniture plus you have zero art(or anything) on the walls. If you guys can afford a pad like this then at least step up your game to Room and Board which makes quality furniture. That IKEA and West Elm stuff will end up falling apart. Also invest in some decent lithos or original artwork and yes you should have went with a King sized bed. Finally, go hire California closets to maximize you closet space so you don’t have to keep your clothes on racks in your room. You have a walk in and should be able to fit everything in your closets. That said, nice layout and great bathrooms.
I don’t like the open clothing rack in the bedroom. The rest of the apartment is so nice that it doesn’t look right. If there is anyway you could renovate the closet to accommodate all the hanging clothes, you could buy a large chest of drawers for that space to put all the other stuff in. If not, buy a wardrobe for that space.
I loved this apartment tour. It's really beautifully decorated and spacious. The space is really well used. But I really have a question about privacy and safety because there are floor to ceiling windows everywhere. I also happened to see another NYC apartment tour which also had these windows. These windows actually provide a lot of natural light, make the home more cosy and also makes it look bigger than it actually is. I'm from India and haven't visited other countries. So I'm really curious about this. Can someone please explain how privacy and safety is taken care of in these apartments?
I would be surprised if you don't speak other language, I can tell there's still some translation in your brainn when you are speaking, which slows down your speaking a lot... first time entering your channel, thanks for the apt touring.
You won’t be getting that West Elm bench in June. West Elm is notoriously horrible about delivering furniture especially custom orders. And their customer service department is a joke. But you can get them to take off shipping fees and get a small discount for the many hours you will waste attempting to find out where your bench is.
Wow! This is truly amazing! I’m really happy for you two. Seeing how hard you work, and the time you put into detail life wise, and as creatives is really inspiring!:)
Yesss finally!!! 💞 loved it!! It looks so spacious and comfortable! I love the part where you’re in the shower & say “there’s a lot of room for activities” 😂
Beautiful apartment! Please keep us updated on any new items you buy to complete the apartment. You both have wonderful taste! The only thing I would add, would be a small kitchen island, probably because I do a lot of food prep work and I like the space to do that On that's just me! Even if you don't, it's the most beautiful apartment I've ever seen!
This should really be more common data included with NYC apartment tours. I'm willing to bet that a lot of us are here because we're considering moving and want to know price ranges : /
Just watched her video on cost of living in NY from January where she included daily costs, and the figure she attributed for that day's rent was $190. That multiplied 30 times is $5700. LOL
Yes, my boyfriend and I pay $2,850 each. I didn’t mention the price in this video because I talked all about it in my recent empty apartment tour video. I get that it helps others who are interested in moving to nyc, however, I received so many nasty, negative comments regarding the price. That’s why I chose to talk about the cost in one video and keep this solely about the tour. I get that it’s expensive, and not everyone is going to understand the value of being here. Living in New York is truly an investment and it’s worth everything we pay.
@@jlinhh Damn! I'm shocked at the price (tho it's to be expected in NYC)...two months of your rental covers a full year + all utilities of my Montréal's apartment. But eh, I guess it's not as trendy as living in the Big Apple. ;)
JLINHH I lived in NYC for 13 years and I think you have a great deal. Your apartment is gorgeous and modern. Tons of space, good location, washer and dryer. Yes, you can live in a mansion in Podunk, Nowhere for that price, where you can have servants fetch you anything you want from the Podunk General Store, and stare at cows all day long, but who the fuck wants that.
I remember when you posted your empty apartment and now it's so full of life and personal, I have a lot of ideas if I ever move out 🤔😊 lol (I also loved how you had the floor plan pop up when you moved from room to room)
It's beautiful and if I had the convenience to spend that much for that apt I would. I had a two bedroom in NY pretty spacy for 1100 a month but in the Bronx. Living in PA now and pay 800 for entire house.
This is an awesome apartment for NY and I love the minimalist style! Everything looks so clean and bright which is Ana amazing contrast to the city outside! Love the wallpaper! P.s: people are so rude with their jealous comments like it’s a crime to work hard and make money! You guys continue rocking!
Can't believe how little you get today for S oooo ooo much money , I guess In Nyc, you can't just own a regular house with a yard n picket fence the apt. Was nice but I feel blessed to not live in that part of the country where everything is astronomically crazy expensive, Thank God for the mid-west!!!
Loving your apartment upgrade! Both you & Andy very much deserved it and loving the decor so much!!!! This just inspired me to start fixing up my house decor 🙏🏽🏠
Can you give just a price range of what your apartment goes for? We are pricing pied a terres with my sister and her husband and looking for two bedrooms. I love the space.
Just lovely! The only thing that u could improve on is some really nice beding & cushions (the bed is the main focas in any bedroom & the beding should be eye catching) but yes..very smart (apart from the bed!) Love from Malta (in the Med)😎
All the blankets you buy from trips are throws for everyone, you get a blanket and you get one too 😂 unless that’s not the case but it’s a nice thought
Holy shit girl u gotta be paying 5-6grand for that place given its NY. A small studio of 400 sqft costs u around 2500 alone in some cases 3000. U have over 1200 sqft X.X
We pay $5700/month. Part of the reason why she chose to live here was because the pay is much higher than where we previously lived and there’s way more opportunities here. It’s the best investment
To further explain- approximately $6,000 per month rent would mean that this couple needs to show an annual combined income of $240,000 to be considered by the building board.
