That’s a beautiful truck I personally love those silverados but for me they have to have the interior from 89-94 and I just recently rebuilt my 4.3 Vortec for my 2003 S10 Xtreme as well very awesome engines and very reliable
Those trucks back in the day could be purchased in, I believe they called it, the "Choo-choo" edition...... aftermarket package and I believe they did it in Chattanooga TN....
Yes, they had the Choo-Choo custom, Mark ///, and Southern Comfort Editions. I personally have the Mark ///. A 92 that I've had since it was two years old. And I STILL LOVE IT!!! Been repainted and the frame painted too, alot of upgrades. But still look factory. 😊
Yeah bro! Yo soy un Gringo pero me gustan las Cumbias tambien! Cheyenne was a lower trim package on the Chevy trucks. Silverado was the higher package. Then they just started using Silverado for the name of all of the pickups in general. Your stepside is like a throwback to las camionettas en Truckin' magazine in the 90s!

Can't go wrong with an obs. Easy to work on parts are cheap plenty of aftermarket support and they last. I've seen some beat on very hard and they just keep going. I still have the original 5.7 in my 96 just turned over 150k miles. Still runs good but I'm bout ready for an ls swap.
My first truck straight out of high school ‘06, was a green 1997 GMC 1500 Z71 step side with a 6 inch lift rolling on 35” tera grapplers, absolutely beast of a truck, nothing wrong with it, had to sell it when I needed the funds to buy my 2nd truck, a 2010 Dodge 2500 cummins. It was a sad day to see it go.

If you don't know the back spacing on it, best to get what came off it for a safe bet. Those wheels can be found on ebay, Facebook market place, and its a guy on IG who refurbish them and sells them. You just have to look for them.
