I love how your blanket turned out so much, the colors and the textures together are beautiful! It definitely is fun doing blankets like that, kind of like mile a minute blankets. I will definitely be adding this one to my library soon and I look forward to seeing your next blanket come together. The colors you have chosen so far are going to look so pretty together 🥰

I really do like the look of your completed blanket ❤ Someone will be very lucky to get it. I like the book a lot, but not sure I would ever actually finish a blanket.

Thanks Cassandra ❤️🤪 Have you made a blanket before? I know you have the granny squares you and your mom were doing for cardigans. And you made the bella coco squares last year. I can’t remember if you showed the blanket all together🤪?

@@carolinefortheloveofcrochetI have made 2 small blankets. One was indeed the crochet society advent one last year, which I showed on a video. And then much earlier last year I also did 'n continuous granny square one. It was in one of my first few videos. And believe it or not, I have a scrappy continuous granny blanket WIP, but who knows when I'll finish that. I just don't enjoy making blankets as much as I enjoy making toys 😂

I bought the book after you showed it in your first video. I haven't done anything with it yet, but it looks like a fun project. I like the idea of the panels so the stitches change and are not so repetitive. I'm looking forward to seeing how your other blanket turns out. The first one is beautiful. Thanks for the video. Oh yes that is one if the reasons why I love it so much. It has kept my interest up and never have. Enjoyed a stitch book as much as this. Give it a good read because she has some great information 😊🤗❤️🧶 happy stitching my fri🧶

You don't mind sewing the panels together? I'm afraid i would. Did you use the mattress stitch?

Hi there, in the book she makes sure you have sc edgings for easy construction. You could use the mattress stitch but I used a slip stitch to connect the panels. I hope that helps ❤️🧶

@@carolinefortheloveofcrochet --I don't know how you would feel about this, but would you be able to do a simple tutorial showing how to do that slip stitch joining 2 panels. It gives me anxiety trying to figure it out. However, I know you are busy! So don't worry about it! Only if you have time.
