For those with an understanding of music theory, they don't even resolve the chord progression at the end of the song. The chorus is written in C Major, and the final chord of the song is a G Major chord (or dominant), which composers often resolve back to the C chord (the root). A fun nod for those who listen for it.

“Just Right” OCD is not really finding something disturbing. It more of a feeling something is wrong. Someone with contamination OCD would be extremely disturb if something wasn't "clean enough" but for 'just right' you just wash something until it "feels okay"

I don't think you will see this, but in 2019-ish I was diagnosed with OCD myself after struggling with it since I was a child. One of the things that helped me realise I wasn't crazy was this exact song. So thank you, Rhett and Link.

I don't have OCD but this is concerningly relatable. If there is an unsolved Rubik's Cube in the vicinity, I will solve it. If I don't close my bedroom door at least three times to make SURE it is closed, something bad will happen. In photography class, I have to use Camera #13 or else something will go wrong. I did get tested and I don't qualify for the disorder, my therapist told me it's just a symptom of ADHD (which makes no sense, but I don't have a degree, so I won't argue.)

I'm 37, I've had Ocd since I was 4, and I can only relate to the toilet paper roll, and the uneven swimmers, in this video! I know ocd is diffrent 4 each person, but it's actually more allot than one may think! And I'm definitely terrified of germs, or anything I perceive as unclean, I talk excessively, I count so much, have so much doubt, checking, and re checking things, and looking for reassurance in conversations, having to plan out almost everything I do, even talking to myself, acting it out, because I want it to be perfect, and being really hard on myself if I fall short, 😢 but above all, the unwanted thoughts are what terrorize me everyday, throughout the day! It leaves me with anxiety, and panic attacks,feeling extremely drained, and depression!😢This is ocd, that many don't recognize, and isn't really talked enough about! 😢 🙏🏿

I love this it’s to poke fun at the tendency of so many people to point out things that are off-center, off-balance, etc. and say "It's driving my OCD crazy!" since that literally isn’t all it is and how the last line is “can I come back tommorow” since the people who usually said “it’S mY OCD” are usually just perfectionist and enjoy organizing this and how people who actually have OCD would never want to keep doing this since it is draining so they wouldn’t want to “come back tomorrow” so yeah love the details 🤍!!!.

It's actually amazing how terrifying OCD really is, alot of people think that it's just "ohh so everything just gotta be straight and not desynchronised". Well it's way more than just that, its basically a small voice in your head telling you "you need to do this again, cuz if you dont you'll die, or you need to wash hands again cuz if you dont you'll get sick cuz of the bacteria". People who is affected by OCD is in alot of discomfort, and even the smallest interruption like coughing or just walking by, can make then do it all over again, to the point where it can take hours for them to put on clothes, closing the door or wash hands. It truly is terrifying

This is true but there are many different types of OCD that affect people in the non conventional way. It’s not all about being organized or clean it can just be anxiety stemmed from rituals and repeated things
