Hilary Hutcheson’s father, Dave, has dedicated his life to the outdoors. After spending decades as a Park Ranger at Mount Rainier National Park, he retired to Montana’s Glacier Park and all but retreated from the wild activities that defined his career. But Hilary is changing all that, by taking her father out on the water to learn the sport that became her life’s calling - fly fishing.

I miss my parents and one cool moment was when my mom was sun bathing between a small river dam in a chair hand in the water enjoying her day and caught a fish bare handed and said you boys haven't ever caught a fish like momma. Enjoy Your Parents there how you got here.

There's nothing quite like a father and daughter relationship. More than any other, you can see them simultaneously slide into this deep calm while feeling a love so deep it almost hurts.

This is a cool story and one of a role reversal of sorts with the daughter teaching her father fly fishing- very nice

Thank you Hilary, such a nice thing to say about your father! Being a father of two young strong beautiful women who I spent time teaching them about the outdoors and fishing it brought a tear to my eyes watching and listening to this story about you and your father. Listened to your podcast with Dave and have seen a video of you with Sean at Silver Bow. Makes me want to reconnect with my daughters and share with them my new passion for fly fishing for steelhead and trout in Washington. Cheers to you and your family, Sincerely, Chuck/Steelyfisher.

Another fantastic yeti film. I'm taking my dad and brother both first time fly fishers to Montana in a month. I hope they take away a similar feeling from the experience.
