@@dedecosmic3545 I've learned the basics so far in GRA 121, and a lot of graphic design history in GRA 111. I've only have those two classes so far, but not much needing to be done since I transferred over with credits from my local community college.
I have a very similar college path as you. I got an Associates degree in Audio Production from a Community college, then transferred to ASU (Tempe) for a Business law degree. At ASU I haven’t taken any summer breaks so I can finish sooner. Graduating fall 2023
I just started my BA in Communications at Aurora University as an online transfer student and we have something similar. Our classes are accelerated (8 weeks each instead of 16) and we call them module 1 & module 2 bc the semester is broken up into two 8 week sessions. I’m only in the first week of classes so I’m just getting a feel for it but if I attend classes this semester (Fall 2024) then Spring, Summer, & Fall of 2025, I’ll be on target to graduate in Fall 2025. Even if pacing of the classes is super hard, I’m ok with it bc I’ll graduate way faster than I would have done if I’d gone the traditional on-campus route at a traditional school. ❤
i was subscribed to you on my old youtube account like 6 years ago. then randomly i just stumbled upon your channel again and i’m so happy i did! i’m currently going to asu so it’s cool to see that you went there as well! ☺️
@@Adrianaxo. I actually took one class, and stopped going for now. I just started my third semester prerequisites for dental hygiene, at a community college. I plan to finish doing my bachelor's when I get done with this program.
Congratulations 🍾🎉🎊 I had been following your videos for a log my time. I would like to ask you if under non-pandemic circumstances do they give you an option to attend a graduation ceremony on-campus with the rest of the ASU in-Person students?
Unless I do online college, a normal 2 year associates degree is going to take me 13 years 😭. I only have time to take one class per spring/fall term. This sucks.
Thank you for making this video with such great advice for ASU Online. Are there any zooms or group work involved at ASU Online or does it depend on the course/degree program?
Congratulations on your graduation! Also, this video was def helpful for someone who is looking into transferring to ASU. Your presentation was very positive and cheerful. I have no doubt you will do well on your career pursuits. Much blessings
Stupid question. Their website doesn't really state whether what the requirements are to take their bachelor courses. They want like $90 bucks application fee to tell you if you are eligible.
here's a fact, cheating in college doesn't affect anything in real life, every company is going to have different ways of doing things, basically as long as you can use Microsoft excel and can type and have a degree, in the end is all that matters.
@@Koston-xo6cx really just depends, for the most part if it's regionally accredited it's fine, but you always want to go to the most respected school you possibly can, just really do your homework it's alot of time and money to invest in something you might regret later.
yeah you're right especially for degrees that are business related. now look if you're trying to become a scientist or engineer you best not be fucking around because you need to know what you're doing
I am from.pakistan and I want to enroll Asu bs computer science online....but being poor I did not have money or single dollar to pay ...😢 But I will work hard in life to do better
Online degrees are definitely cheaper, the responsibility of finding the right resources to study and stay motivated with are on you, also not being on a campus lowers costs dramatically.
Hey! I was looking at going to ASU and I was curious about how they handle job placement for graduates? Do you get job offers right out of college, or anything like that?
They don't necessarily get you a job or place you anywhere. But they do have resources like virtual career fairs for online students, databases with jobs, etc. I personally found my job right out of college through Indeed. I applied to about 200+ jobs and landed about 6 interviews and was hired within 4 months post grad. I really believe it's the work you put into it that matters most. :)
The biggest thing about making friends as an online student is that it WILL be a little harder. It's frusturating at first but totally normal! Even a lot of regular college students have experienced this with covid, I think. You just have to go out of your way a little more to find friends. Remember, every convo with a new person is a potential for making a new friend!
it can take 3 years depending on how many classes you take or whether you take summer classes...some people take up to 5 years, Really the only thing that's a con of online school is you don't have anyone physically to study with although they are really good about connecting online.
Yes it took me 3 years at ASU (going to school year round), after my first 2 years at FIDM. A lot of my credits didn't transfer from the fashion school so it took a little longer than expected. All together getting my associates and bachelors took me 5 years.
Hi! Sorry for commenting literally the time of one college degree later lol but I wanted to get the opinion of an ASU student but I don’t know anyone 😬 I’m studying at a college in my home country and I very much hate it here … so I’m really considering ASU online so I can get 2 degrees at once since I hate my current degree but can’t afford regular ASU Do you think it’s doable? I’m at school usually 7am - 1pm so I’m scared it’s too much on my plate, even if I took more than 4 years
Hi there!! You can do your schoolwork at any time of day with ASU online. There will be deadlines on specific dates/times but you always know of them in advance. I recommend reaching out to the admissions office for ASU online and asking about their program for students out of the country since I am not exactly sure how that works.
@@cicilyboone Hi Congratulations! I’m wanting to attending ASU Online this Fall, and I’m wondering how much did you pay out of pocket? And how was the financial aid for you?
I’m considering going to asu. Is college generally enjoyable. I mean how would you say asu is like? I don’t like toxicity and I want to meet people right away. How do some people have a positive college experience and never go through a tough period in college of mockery and shit like that
yes it is the same. the degree will look the same as the asu in person program. both degrees have equal weight meaning wise as one is not better than the other
@@emiliakendrick3081 This means that if I get the degree online, I will be like the students who attended the university campus, and there will be no discrimination, and therefore the job opportunities will be equal, and if I want to study a master's on campus, it will be available to me right
@@عبدالعزيز-ذ4ب1ق your degree won’t say online or anything it is exactly the same as a on campus degree unless you disclose it was online nobody will know
