I feel like pretty much my only two fears are people finding out secrets that I will tell literally no one, and death. both of which I feel are probably pretty common. but that's where the list ends. heights? no problem. the dark? everyone knows nothing is in there. bugs? *they should be the ones who are afraid.*

I relate to the end so much. I am the only person in the entire house who ever gets the bugs out of the house. Everyone always just calls me if they see anything with eight legs or big wings.

I think most of us were scared more of what’s hiding in the dark and not the dark itself and I can understand your dad’s love for that show I loved it growing up

I first watched Gremlins when I was 4, my dad loves the movie and wanted to show me. At first, he thought I'd be crying by the end of it, but when it was over, I had no words. I only cried once that day, and it was because my dad refused to play it again.

Ok real quick, I am currently working on a project on phobias and each of the three members of our team had to do research on phobias and find the answers to the minimum two questions we had to answer. I am now a master on phobias, mental disorders, social issues, and a lot more and I'm not even done my project. I'm not the type of person who talks in class (puts hand up, tells/ explains answer) I watch others talk and avoid making eye contact with the teachers,still getting called on though. And then this one time we had a discussion on phobias and I put my hand up. Everyone was like, wait what?? Because every one in my class knows me well enough to know that speaking in class is a problem for me but with other people I am out there I am energetic beyond belief. So when I put my hand up everyone was dead quiet and my teacher was really excited about me contributing to the class conversation and called on me. I said everything I could say without my throat closing up from the stress and anxiety. My teacher was very impressed by the information I had given and said she appreciat ed it. Also a fear is a rational sense of survival. Phobias are actually anxiety disorders based off certain things such as genetics or traumatic events that cause intense fear and stress.

My neighbor acts like he’s the toughest in the world (he’s rude and stupid) and is TERRIFIED of spiders even telling us that we should go inside because of one spider that was tiny

I had a fear of clowns, but specifically Pennywise since I was like 5. I had never watched IT though. I wouldn't even step on drains because he'd hear it, follow me home and kill me. A while ago, I watched IT and I'm no longer scared of clowns now. I still don't step on drains.

Aye, I've had a similar situation. One day, I was at a friend's house. They have an awesome go kart. I asked to ride it and thought, "Yay! I'll be the driver and my friend will be the passenger." Except, that didn't happen. Since this was a neighborhood I wasn't familar with, I was nervous and the worst part was that my friend abandoned me at the beginning. Anyways, I drive down the road thinking, "I know the place and what it looks like." *_Nope_* , I got lost. I passed the house on my way back and started to *panic* . A little later, I found it and wiped my wimpy tears. I told my parents afterwards and never saw those kids again. *_I didn't like or trust them from the beginning anyways._*
