Is my opinion as negative as of other reviewers? Is the RTX 4060 Ti really that bad of a graphics card? Today I'll try to find, talk and discuss about the good and bad aspects of this mid-range GPU by NVIDIA. Meaning - I'll be running tests at two different resolutions, and needless to say, will also measure the total power consumption both at full load and while gaming. To be exact, I'll be checking out the PNY XLR8 VERTO EPIC-X RGB version of the RTX 4060 Ti.
Is it worth buying?

I do love the card. I have the 16gb card from pny. But didn't realize when I purchased it, that it would not exceed pcie x8. I got this card because I only game at 1080p. Score on Heaven at factory settings was 3494. Ive looked around and for this card that's a fair number for being bone stock out of the box. I only wished that I would have been able to use all 16 lanes.

And this card is designed for 1080p. Not 1440. Still wish they used all 16 lanes for this much money. lol

The 4050Ti (aka 4060Ti) should’ve been a $249 USD GPU at most (Asus Strix model) 8gb and 16gb $289 usd imo. It’s a lower tier GPU 50-class die being charged at a 70-class price point. This GPU needs to be an ITX sized GPU too to allow compatibility for smaller builds where this GPU would be a great fit for a htpc setup etc.

Sounds about right. Except I like that we're given the choice for bigger cards, if we want that extra oomph in terms of cooling, but of course there should also be ITX-sized cards out there in this performance tier. ^^

4060Ti is a great value, when looking back the past 20 years of gpu history and pricing.

Got my Asus KOv2 for payment for a 4/5hr job repairing a gaming rig. So roughly $120 (it was a good friend, so really I’d have taken $60-$80). I looked across the local market and value it around $200-$225 as a fair price. After spending a few hours tearing it down, deep cleaning the pcb and soaking/de-cigarette stinking the heatsink I have a great card that does fantastic at 1080p/1440p for 99% of the market. Personally If I was gonna spend my own cash on a NEW card at $400 I’d get a 6800 or save up another few bucks and snag the 6800xt at $430(I want to review the new 7800xt while it’s still newish) The 4060ti to me is a joke, it simply doesn’t bring enough to the table vs the current used market. A new 4060ti is the same price as a used 3080/6900xt I personally hate upscaling technology, so dlss/frs I hate turning on. I’m still rocking my XTXH 6900xt and am able to keep pure rasterization at 1440p while streaming across multiple platforms. (I know this comment doesn’t say much about what your video is about, I just am a hardware nerd and wanted to share 😊)
