My Opinion on EVERY MLB Mascot
What are my opinions of Every MLB Mascot? People always ask me which MLB Mascot is the best and which MLB Mascot is the worst, so I made a video today giving you my MLB Mascot rankings. Let me know what your favorite MLB Mascot is in the comment section!

Yankees had a mascot, his name was Dandy and he was made by the people who created the Phanatic and Youppi of the Expos. He lasted 3 years mostly because he was confined to the top decks of old Yankee stadium instead of walking around the ballpark. In 1981 his lease went up and he left the team. The Angels had a pair of generic bear mascots around the Disney era of their team and the Dodgers have bobblehead mascots that roam around Dodger stadium

Dodgers are named the dodger because in Brooklyn ppl would jump out in front of cars then try to avoid them, they were called dodgers. So when the dodgers were in New York. U get it.

Phillies comes from the Philadelphia nickname of Phillie. Mariners because Seattle is an important port Astros because NASA's mission control is in Houston. Rangers because the Texas Rangers were lawmen in the Texas old west.

Giants fan here, and Lou Seal's the mascot because the OG San Francisco team was a minor league team named the Seals, until 1957 when the New York Giants came to San Francisco. Love your videos man!

For what it's worth, the reason the SF Giants mascot [Lou seal} is a seal is actually to honor the San Francisco Seals {who was a minor league baseball team in the Pacific Coast League from 1903-1957}. Quite a few players played on the Seals before moving on to the Majors {perhaps most notably was Joe DiMaggio}.

Years before anyone saw the antics of the Phillie Phantic, the San Diego Padres had the San Diego Chicken. He was the originator of a crazy sports mascot that the PP copied. Due to legal rights of the chicken suit, we don’t see it anymore.

The pirates did had another mascot, which was a pirate, it went by the name "jolly roger". He didn't last long, only for about a few seasons. Nice one though. He paired well with the pirate parrot (that's how you're supposed to pronounce his name, not pirate the parrot).

Reds Mascot Explanation: Mr. Red was the original mascot, until the unveiled Gapper in 2003, when they moved to GABP. They shared mascot duties until Mr. Red decided to go back and become Mr. Redlegs. Rosie Red was then introduced, and the brought back Mr Red in 2012.

Hey I’m a reds fan I got some history: Gapper is called Gapper because if you would go to great American ballpark there is a gap behind the Home plate (it is upwards a little bit). The reason why the refs have 2 male mascots is because: during WWII something happened where the japenese were called red and the made mr red legs and temperarily changed their name to the redlegs again. The reason why Rosie red was made is because during the 60s the reds almost moved to San Diego and the Rosie red foundation wanted to keep the reds in cincinati. Please read this comment!

I kinda wish the Yankees had a mascot, but idk what they’d do and at this point they’re so deep and historic without one i don’t really see the point anymore. Hello. The Dodgers do have several mascots running around the stadium. There are four Peanuts style boys dressed like the team; one is black; one is white and blonde; one Asian; and a Latino(?) who's white and brunette. Then you have Hello Kitty, Mickey and Minnie, Snoopy and Shrek all dressed like the team on several occasions.

I am a Reds fan and the reason is they are a family and Mr. Redlegs is old an married to Mrs. Redlegs And they made a kid and since Mr. Redlegs is kind of old his son looks old

I’m a Yankees fan from New York but my favorite mascot has to be the Rockies when I was younger I loved dinosaurs and I still think they are really cool and purple is my favorite color plus he looks really happy and he’s just a really cool mascot who fits my personality.

The Reds mascots are supposed to be like a family. Mr. Redlegs and Rosie Red are supposed to be a couple, with "Red" being their child. I have no explanation for Grubber, though. The Reds mascots might be corny, but they're definitely classic!

Orbit is THE FUNNIEST mascot that I've seen, one time I went to MMP and he was for some reason throwing mini toilet plungers into the crowd. 😅👌

Plural for "Moose" is just "Moose". It doesn't change. It's like "Deer". Yes, Dinger is a Triceratops. A fossil Triceratops skeleton was found during the excavation for the construction of Coors field.
