Hey Tom, yes I am healing well. As for fishing, I’ve been so busy I’ve only fished like 4 times this year. I’m homeschooling my kids, spending 20-30 hours on tying videos, I do all the cooking, most of the cleaning, mowing out 1 acre property which pretty much most needs only weedeater because of the terrain is too much for a mower (6-8 hours every weekend) and taking care of the homestead as well. I’m up at like 5-5:30am and don’t finish what I need to do until 8-9pm. Pretty much every day. Extremely busy and tired. Haha! I need to get out soon though for sure!

@@McFlyAngler I hear you; I peeled my nose from the grind stone about 3 years ago (retirement). Been going like mad for over 35 years. Now it’s me time. It’s like Miller time but it just tastes better and it’s less filling.

@@PaintballShyguy You certainly control the quality and content of the material going into their heads. God help our kids and our public education system. We’re being overrun by the freak show.

So I’m homeschooling because my son has severe ADHD and light autism. He is a good kid, and very smart but public school is definitely not for him. The teachers are busy with 20+ other kids and he needs 1 on 1. When he was in public school, he would come home after 8 hours of school and then we would do 4-5 hours of homework because he was making up what he didn’t finish in class. The teachers couldn’t control him and would just let him not do the work. Now I spend about 5-6 hours a day with him on school work, insuring he keeps at it and does the work. Granted it’s hard, but at least he is doing it. My daughter requires lots of extra help as well since she is young. She might also have ADHD but too early to be fully sure. But yeah I put a few hours a day helping her as well. Probably a total of 8-10 hours a day just on helping my kids with their school work. But yes it’s all worth it. The benefits as you said is I can insure they are getting a good education without all the nonsense. Teaching them the real ways of the world, not what many places are teaching.

I was telling people about my new channel. It didn’t have to do with fishing. I was making an announcement that I’ve been posting daily on my other channel. It’s about homesteading and gardening.
