Honestly Sara's energy is why I subscribed to the channel. The only camera I use on a daily basis is a 5 year old webcam, the other one has so much dust on the sensor it's like inverse bokeh and my macbook hasn't been powered on since before the pandy. That said any time a new video shows up I just pop in for a few mins to get a dose of that peachy energy. (Sorry Sara! I just ordered a t-shirt to make up for it lol)

I don’t think it’s the classic, it’s the X. The original has much fuller sound from what I have heard, and it’s also a little chunky compared to the nano, and the original was barebones with less vocal presets. For 100$ and no batteries or interface to worry about, it’s pretty much the best/cheapest all in one solution for Internet based media (streaming, podcast, RU-vid, bloggers etc). It’s certainly not better than dedicated and professional hardware. But honestly a 3-500$ (or much more) mixers/interface and hundreds of dollars of battery packs, expensive cables, and mic stands, pop filters etc, vs a 100$ all in one, makes a lot of sense for a beginner or traveler who needs something better than built in mics on their devices. The price for someone starting out makes it absolutely worth it as a viable solution to a fairly low cost “studio” setup. Obviously if you are very focused on audio it’s not even close to the best solution. However many people in her position have more focus on lighting, camera, computer hardware and software, and audio recording needs to fit somewhere in that mix without taking resources from other components and software. And honestly you can do so much in post, your audio isn’t automatically stuck with defaults, and you could take the time to correct as much as possible if that was your intention.
