At the world pokemon championship, a huge move update was announced. This includes nerfing super strong moves like wing attack, counter, and steel wing. It also reduces the switch clock from 60 to 50 seconds.
Looking at the overrated and underrated pokemon of the Go Battle League Great League after the first full week of ultra league.

1. Hydro is the problem, not SC. They need to make it a blast burn clone. Don’t think so? SC typhlosion would be the #1 Pokémon if SC was the issue, no one runs it on typhlosion 2. Pvpoke is wrong in terms of what to run on drapion in UL. You run sludge and crunch

@RealizmYT I was thinking the same. Nerf hydrocanon by buffing it. More energy, but more damage. Moreover, They should rebalance all three starter moves

How do you feel about shadow Dragonite's place in the new UL meta? Seems like it can sort of fill the niche left by so many other fliers being nerfed. For now I'm running it on the lead with shadow Feraligatr and shadow Ampharos in the back, same team I used last season but it still seems fine so far.

The more you climb the more things changes! Also keep in mind that things did change for Ultra League as well all the XL mons that have been in use for the past 2-3 seasons are done… we are playing old school until the player base build the new ones!

Oh its nerfed next season no doubt. My only gripe is that if they dont give sableye a new fast move, its gonna be unplayable.

Can’t believe ur the first content creator I’ve heard talk about a SC nerf meanwhile everyone has been glazing gatr. Counter and SC have been the best moves for 90% of pogo and now that counter got nerfed the end is def near for SC. Prob with counter was especially medi and then the ape and vigoroth with RockSlide were 2 much. Gatr is unfortunately 100% gonna get SC nerf. Ppl have been complaining about it being everywhere and it’s gonna be a medi 2,0 just even better. Also fairly easy 2 get which doesn’t help it

Been runnign Virizion with some other random pokemon. Gotta say that pokemon is corebreaking everything. I would probably run 3 of it if it was possible

I think it would be interesting for fast move balancing if they made energy generation "STAB/STEB" as well, so pokemons like feriligator can be nerfed without affecting all the ghosts who are decent with shadow claw. another thing is I don't agree with how they are balancing with the updates, I don't think they should be buffing moves that are clones of other moves which are being nerfed namely mud shot poison sting, I think they should just buff moves to the level of mud shot and shadow claw.

I like this idea, 20% more energy if the fast move is STAB (well, don't increase the current rates, keep as is for STAB and reduce non-STAB energy generation)

I personally love Pangoro as a lead...you just need the right team to handle fairy and fighting. I find it pairs really well with Skeledirge.....personally i think its match up vs the ever present Feraligatr makes it extremely viable

Cobalion is definitely better than expected. Galarian weezing it also super fun to use although I wish it was either bulkier or hit a little harder. It’s very balanced

They need to nerf crunch and ice beam. Crunch nerf will also make zygarde less overpowered. It will also balance shadow drapion

Not exactly. "Battle Rating is a metric used to represent each battle's outcome. It is the backbone of PvPoke's rankings. The Battle Rating formula is: Battle Rating = (500 x (Damage Dealt / Opponent's HP)) + (500 x (HP Remaining / HP)) In other words, a Pokemon gets up to 500 points for the percentage of HP it damages in battle and up to 500 points for the percentage of HP it survives with. Battle Rating has a hypothetical maximum of 1000 (victory with no damage taken) and a hypothetical minimum of 0 (loss with no damage dealt). Victories will always have a minimum Battle Rating of 500 Battle Rating is a way of measuring battles beyond simply "win" and "loss"; it may be valuable to know not only which Pokemon can win, but which can do so while sustaining the least amount of damage, leaving them in a better position for the next fight. Let me give my 5 cents on this! Lol 1. PvPoke rankings an calculations are based on a rank 1 Mon am baiting using 1 shield! I pretty sure that if we place the IVs that most players that are looking to build it it comes lower! 2. I like Caled P approach to this with his S-Class am A,B,C, Am garbage! lol but that is also his opinion! 3. They will KO that Shadow Claw… man I see that one coming! They have to for next season! Am that’s it I’ll keep the other 2 for my self! Lol!

I agree with the shadow claw nerf. I also think all 1 and 2 turn moves need a nerf while all 3, 4, and 5 moves need a buff.

@@ssj2trunks103 shadow claw "needs a nerf" because that stupid gator got it. it really sucks that plenty of pokemon (sableye, trevenent, gengar, sneasler...) woud need to pay the price and become obsolete because of a single instance of a carelessly granted move.
