I have been trying to tell that to my parents all my life, but they have made me psychologically Ill, with totally lacking self esteem and confidence. They constantly insult me for speaking against wrong and do difference between son and daughter. I don’t think there is a solution for that. Now my mom is sick and I take care of her, even now she never gives any importance. It’s extremely Saddening and disturbing, all my quAlity as a person have died.

I think the case varies from person to person, Some people don't feel like saying things again and again, because saying something even twice irritates them. And for children, it is obligatory also to respect their feelings.. also if things are going wrong way this way, one should stop saying and rest his/her case to Allah.. He is the caretaker for all things, He will make a way out one can't even imagine.

Idk what to do when your elders or parents or relatives say something about islamic act like your hijab. I mean what to react... should I get angry or stay quiet... because they are your mentor and when they say something about your islamic act you get demotivated. And they say such things like " Why so overacting? " ( when we're engaging more in deen) Or "why to do little pardah when you're not completely doing pardah?" This makes me feel yaar thoda karre at least kr toh rahe I mean Allah ne thode ki hidayat di toh aage bhi denge. Somewhere these comments demotivate me. What to do on these occasions?
