I’m a mother to teenagers, and honestly that mum made me sad. If my kids make something I try and don’t like, I would never spit it out and make faces like that, I’d give constructive criticism. Advise on things I felt it might need or not need whilst still being positive. This reaction will just knock the wind right out of a kid whose trying their best. Sad to see

Idk how your mom is on a regular basis but this was rude. Even if she didn’t like it I doubt it was bad enough to just spit out like that and be extra dramatic. Your dad seemed very supportive and encouraging whilst she seemed cold and disrespectful especially saying that you were loud like she was just starting off complaining before even trying anything.
