Where do even begin with this part.. I was asked over a year ago by Icedcave if I was interested in building in the Slaughterhouse sequel / prequel, and since I was in the OG I may as well, shouldn’t I?
This ending, unlike my Slaughterhouse part was so, so much harder to build, mainly because of the gameplay and structuring being vastly different - that and the part of the song I had to work with didn’t offer too much creative liberty other than a really dark, atmospheric part.
In terms of what I had in mind for this, I wanted to create a decrepit, abandoned and corrupted version of my original part, with touches of analogue horror thanks to the idea in Iris’ part. I think I did this idea justice, and I hope you guys feel the same way.
If I'm gonna be honest though, I'm not the most proud of this part. Having spent OVER A YEAR on it, and getting basically carried by Rynoxious at the end, I can't help but feel a little embarrassed with what I've made here. But hey, it's not the worst part in the level so that's cool lmao
