My son is a cybersecurity engineer and he loves keeping the scammers on the phone as long as he can so they won’t get to other people. He pulls their chains as much as possible. THANK YOU for trying to keep people safe.
It’s wild how disrespectful scammers are … basically no attempt to actually seem like someone working for the companies they pretend to be …. I’m so glad you’re exposing them and helping victims, this crime leaves people financially but also very emotionally scarred
They are scums on this earth... Imagine scamming an 84 year old widow with mobility issues and knee surgery out of her life savings... This is worse than murder. To be honest these guys need to brought to street corner and shot after announcement.
Ive got real respect for this guy and what he does. You can see the passion he has for this when the scammers try to disrespect and insult their way out of it.
I love what you do. These guys got my Elderly Dad here in Canada. Him and my mom are in a fixed income and they took them for close to 500 bucks. Doesn’t seem like much to most, but that was a lot for them. They have expensive medications including Dads heart meds and his cancer meds. So this really hurt them. Horrible horrible people. Thanks for what you do.
That's awful. £500 can mean the difference between paying your rent or not and if you don't have an understanding landlord or you're already in arrears then you could end up homeless. They'd have taken more if they could. When I hear them berating old people and making them cry, especially when it's not just pierogi etc playing an old lady. I saw one recently where they had an actual old lady crying in a store. I think it was ScammerRevolts but might have been this channel. The store manager eventually took the calls from the scam baiter seriously and found the lady looking at gift cards while still talking to the scammer on the phone. It made me imagine my own mam, she's only 60 and she's still working full time and my brother has fully schooled her when it comes to scams. He works in IT shutting down dodgy websites, I'm not sure exactly what he does but that's a brief way of describing it but even just growing up in this era we're able to put her wide about things like this. In future though if she ever gets a bit forgetful etc it'd break my heart to see this happening to her. Imagining her standing crying in a shop brought tears to my eyes

@@BeaHindebars I know, it really made me sad for the old lady, the humiliation of it to be stood crying in a shop and you know its coz you're old and confused but you can't help it. I know how that would affect my mother and she'd probably never go in that shop again out of embarrassment, even though she should have nothing to be embarrassed about but I just know she would feel that way. Luckily she's got us and we'll keep her safe if she does get more vulnerable with age. She's looked after me my whole life and I'm 35 so I'm gonna be there for her when she needs it
The fact that Pierogi will try to contact people who were scammed and if possible give them back what was taken makes this channel one of my favorite anti-scammer channels on RU-vid. It is a horrible feeling when get your money and information stolen from you and I know that you cannot help every person, but you still go out of your way to help the people you can and make them feel better. Love the channel.
I’m not 100% positive, but I believe that Jim Browning also tries to get victims’ money back. He also will call the targets while they are in the process of getting scammed, to stop them from continuing. He has saved a lot of people’s money from being stolen because of that! :)
I've been watching these videos for months and with a lot of enthusiasm and anticipation. Pierogi and your team are a godsend - and often a comic relief. Thank you for going after these scammer guys and helping innocent people.
An idea - Ask an Indian person to record swear words and play them on the call. Trust me the impact would be different. Get someone who swears in Bengali and play it if the scammer is in Kolkata and get another person who can swear in Punjabi and use it when scammer is calling from Delhi. The response and trigger would be on a different level. Would be an interesting video and an experiment to maybe see a different reaction if someone swears at them in their native language and also with an Indian accent
What shocks me with all these calls when they start hurling the abuse, is how truly vile they become, even descending to the depths of family related sexual insults. It is sickening, and I do wonder culturally whether this underlies the awful sexual violence against women that is s widespread in the sub continent?
If anything, it's funny to see someone with a relatively poor grasp on the English language trying to string insults together, which is an indication of how hilariously angry they are, and unable to throw any higher form of insults at him. And this is coming from someone whose first language is Spanish.

@@vaziralramin4565 Pierogi means "dumplings" in Polish (a sort of national dish) but why he calls himself that way I honestly don't know. Maybe he has some Polish heritage or maybe he just likes the dish.
@@konradszmeil654 I mean I know the dish. In Russian there are pierogi as well but they have different meaning and it’s a plural word. It means pie for pierog and pies for pierogi. I think Polish pierogi in Russian called vareniki. I just don’t get why he decided to call himself that way. Isn’t pierogi in Polish is a plural word as well? “Thanks for doing it Pierogi” isn’t it referring to them/they, not him? i don’t know, to be honest sounds like the cringiest pseudonym ever with non binary vibes and I was curious maybe there is some hidden meaning behind it🤦♂️😅
@@vaziralramin4565 In Polish it is plural too (I guess for any slavic language speaker it is kind of obvious) but for someone who speaks English it might not be the case. In fact sometimes they even make a plural out of that saying "pierogies" which is very weird. I don't think in this particular case (as we're talking about the nickname) it has any non binary vibes. I bet he just likes the dish. And the nickname is like spaghetti, it is plural as well.
You're doing great work, i smiled through most of it but when you called the victims at the end it was heartwarming, Bless you for doing what very few can, these people are disgusting and i was scammed a few yrs. ago by Indians.

I received a call today and I automatically realized it was a scam call and I kept going with there script and then I told him that I’ve heard his voice before and he straight up told me no, and then I told him “yes I did and it was in scammer payback” and he started laughing and then I just started insulting him he got pissed and hung up, thanks perogi for what you are doing, you are giving people more knowledge and how to avoid this, keep it up I love your work
All these scammers can do when you get the best of them is hang up like scared little boys. I love when they call me! I lead them on as long as I can before I get tired of them, then I laugh, tell them how ignorant they are and hang up. They're jerks! Love you Pierogi!! Keep up the Awesome work you do!!

I love the work you do. I get so many calls that register as a v with a random stream of numbers afterwards on caller id that are usually strange to me, like people calling for medical insurance info to "update" information. Here is a note... in the United States of America, the medical insurance never calls you for information that they should already have on hand.
The other day when I was driving with my husband I got a call supposedly from this company called Wellness. The girl told me that they wanted to ship a free heart test kit to me, paid for by Medicare.I told her this sounds a bit fishy and oh by the way which dr of mine ordered it, she completely ignored the question..I told her I think this is a scam and you’re just trying to get personal information from me. My husband was laughing because he knows I listen to a lot of RU-vid and know better than to trust someone who can’t answer basic questions. I finally said sorry and that I would check with my own dr..and bid her a fond click farewell…
I found this channel a week ago and I’m so addicted. I absolutely love this crap. Pierogi is doing the Lords work here. My mom is 91. She never used a computer and won’t talk to anyone she doesn’t know on the phone so I’m lucky. These people are dirt eaters of the first order. Keep up the fight!

Im from the uk and im terminally sick part of my medication effects my cognitive and retaining information, i suffer from extreme depression and anxiety severe night terrors and extreme ptsd with suicidal tendencies, watching you and the guts from trilogy really do help me get through the darkness, since 2020 I've litterly been outside 15 times 10 of those were hospital, being classed as vulnerable you loose all contact with the outside world thanks to covid-19 , I don't really have a bucket list but if I could do 1 thing it would be to see you and trilogy guys and take you for a beer or 5, my wife knows when she hears me laughing that you've helped me feel alive for those 15 or so mins. Thank you so much for doing this! My grandparents (83 and 84) have fallen victim to scams like this. My grandma has dementia so she gets confused often and these people will call their house phone and threaten to have then arrested or drain their joint bank accounts. It scares her and freaks her out every time. It’s really heartbreaking so thank you for helping others!❤️
Trust me, I hear you and am aware that things need to change. That's the main thing I want. It's the main thing my whole family wants. It's more complex than getting a relative to watch them constantly around the clock or even in time blocks. My family and I are all working full-time, all day, every day, helping them with groceries, bills, transportation, appointments, cleaning, visiting them every night, etc. We have had in-home nurses as well, but, they've all worked poorly. We've purchased softwares that "blocks" the spam numbers but they only work so much. The next step is a nursing home to house both of them which isn't easy to find. Therefore, in the meantime, we are doing the best we can to "protect the vulnerable". If you have any suggestiond that would be great! :) @@Mataylor17
I live in New York and a scammer kept calling my home everyday about giving me a refund from my gas company. I told them if they don't stop calling me then I am going to give their number to scam payback. Next thing I heard was a dial tone. Thanks for what you are doing by helping people.
I actually stopped a friend being though a scam. They were buying gift cards from the store, They told me through messages and I was like, why are they buying gift cards? And then I realized, They got called by a scammer and now their buying gift cards, so I went to the store and I told them everything and they stopped. SOMEONE SAVED!!!

Honestly their insults are horrible it's pretty funny. My favorite is when they think it's a serious call and your messing with them and they yell "I'm holding the line!!" Over and over Like they are in battle or something trying to get you to stay connected.
They scammed my husband 500$ Asked my husband to get a 5 google play cards from the target store and my husband did because they said some one hacked his iPhone iCloud and now they can see the account number and a long story.thank you so much for what you did to the scammers
I love it when you have the scammers are so intimidated by you that they refuse to deal with you, much the way people like me refuse to deal with them with their scams, although I’ve never actually encountered any contact with them, as of yet.

I've literally told an elderly friend of mine that if they ever even suspected they could be on with a scammer to say "Hey, do you know Pierogi? He's my nephew." Assuring her they will hang up lol
As always keep up the good fight. I spend 3 to 4 hours every day wasting their time. The more people we have on our team the less time they have scamming innocent victims. ❤️❤️

They always ask for Mr Evens and my name is Evans, I always say I will get him for you please hold on. I keep them hanging on for has long as possible. One called me yesterday and said he was from the IRS and I would go to prison, if I didn’t pay this outstanding amount I owe. But I live in the UK and our tax authorities are HMRC.
Videos like this make me happy, I was almost scammed my steam accuont. Luckily Steam Support was quick enough. And people paying back scammers makes me happy those "people" deserved it. Keep up the good work Pierogi.

I love watching ur videos, I just watched one where U got a couple victim numbers and it’s the one where the lady had been scammed out of $2400 and u delivered her a check to replace it, literally brought me tears!! What y’all do is amazing and on behalf of somebody who receives on average 10-15 scam calls a day which is literally 95% of all my phone calls being scammers I appreciate what u do!! I wish there was a way to do this to the scammers that set up fake shopping sites, my mom was scammed on one of them and she works so hard for her money as do so many others, my dad is disabled and she wanted to get him a mobility scooter and not having much money she wanted the best deal and she had no idea that u can be scammed through a shopping site. I only found out after the fact and soon as I did I immediately discovered she had been scammed. Of course she didn’t get her money back, sadly she felt even attempting to do so would lead to no where so it wasn’t even worth trying. I hope you guys can figure out how to screw those people over too, because they probably end up w more stolen money then the phone scammers because so many people don’t realize that scammers can absolutely have online stores that seem so legit but are just scams. I realize most of the big time scammers in India pay off the authorities so once ur even able to get to that point you guys hit walls getting these jerks shut down and even here in our own country police don’t bother investigating these scams because there are so many and it’s an endless cat and mouse chase that seems to go no where for a lot of effort. But you guys devote ur time and effort to help the unsuspecting innocent victims and ur truly doing the Lord’s work. To me these pieces of trash r no different then a thief that breaks into someone’s home and robs them blind, seriously NO DIFFERENT!!! Not a computer “guy”, but is it possible to wreck their computers, servers? Would be brilliant to see their equipment destroyed! Love seeing their files disappear, and particularly you contacting the people they’ve scammed & helping them out!
Computers? Yeah pretty much, though getting beyond a certain point it gets into gray territory whether it's legal or not. Like for example, Pierogi doesn't install malware (though he probably could) because doing so is illegal. Anything beyond that? Certainly possible, definitely not legal.
@Jack Just to add something to this, pretty sure even Jim Browning, whom Pierogi absolutely loves and respects, goes further into "gray hat" (i.e. doing illegal or at least legally murky things but for good reason) territory than Pierogi will. It's just Pierogi's choice. That's my understanding of the situation anyway.

CS major here, with the right skillset you can delete the files and the server settings. You can't destroy the server to render it useless. There are also legal issues as he doesn't work with the government.
I just cant thank you enough for everything youre doing to help people so they dont get scamed. I just found youre channel yesterday and its nothing else im watching since then. Since its a serious matter of how many scamers there are. Even i got called by some like three times a day. I didnt answer the call but i still were scared they would call again. But your videos just make me feel safe. So i wanted to give you a big thank you for that and i hope others are gratefull for your work too.

Thanks I was called with a broadband 'issue' for a different supplier to the one we have. Immediately I knew it was a scam. I kept him going for just under 20 minutes and felt sort of pleased that I wasted their time.
There's nothing more satisfying than watching scammers get their world flipped upside down and insulted in their own language. I love answering scam calls and wasting as much of their time as I can, lol. Much love and respect, Pierogi, thank you for doing what you do.

I get phone calls now and again and I would love to no what I can do to first annoy scammers and then keep them on the call as long as possible without giving them any info of use to them . You are awesome. It makes my heart feel good that you are getting justice for all the people who have been taken advantage of from these scammers. My mom got a call for the first time and told her she owed money and threatened her that she would go to jail if she didn’t pay them. She was scared and shaking. She made my dad drive her to the police station as they were thinking she was going to the ATM. She went into the station and handed her phone to a police officer. When the officer got on the phone, the scammer hung up. I felt so sorry for my mom because she was traumatized. I educated her on these scammers. But i felt so sorry for her. So thank you for what you are doing. 🙏🏼💕
