The biggest complaint I saw while doing the research before I started buying these books was that the design can come off from heavy handling and while reading. I couldn't resist the books anyway but the solution I found for this was to buy a plastic book protector while you're reading. It works really well and the plastic covers come off once you're done reading. Also if you're someone that likes to crack the spines of your books you'll ruin these books if you try, the pages are glued in not stitched so the pages could come loose. Loved the video, definitely putting Inferno higher on my list now.

@@kenyacandelario-hernandez442 Hi I got them on amazon, you don't really have to worry about size since you can cut them down to size. I only really use the protectors when Im reading when they're on my shelf I take the covers off.

I love 'Woman in White' and i always thought it was quite strange that most people dont like this book. So happy to know that you enjoyed it. Loving your clothbound collection! All of my classics books are hand-me-down well-loved editions from my Uncle and Mom and now, after seeing your collection i am tempted to buy the clothbound editions. Thanks for this video!!

I comes from China,and I really love Penguin Books,even I have read only one book by William Golding- Lord o' the Flies,I also bought a book by Dickens, might be called Christmas what things ...they belongs to pengin random house, really neat (even though it has very little pages). Because my country doesn't have that much video uploaders about Penguin Classics,I come to RU-vid,you are a very nice RU-vidr,I'll keep following you.BTW I love your BGMs,JUST CLASSIC,(even though i don't know the exact name)

Are all clothbounds the same size (height and length)? Not including the width/amount of pages. I’m asking because I want to buy plastic covers to protect my future collections, thanks!!!

Do you find that the design on these fades easily? I’ve hears a lot of complaints regarding the quality of these editions

Yes they do fade and come off very easily unfortunately.

What would you say is the best place to buy these? I would like to start a collection but am unsure wheee to buy. Also, if you read from the penguin cloth bounds, how do you keep them in such good condition?

I say it is better to get them in store so you can inspect them. One of my clothbounds came in filthy and was a huge disappointment. There will be signs of wear regardless of how you use them. I suggest being okay with that before investing in them. If not then the B&N collection are good as well and very durable.
