Based on the descriptions provided, here are educated guesses for each peptide: Peptide 1: Described as a PPAR agonist that aids in cardiovascular fitness and fat burning. This is likely Cardarine (GW501516). Peptide 2: Known for muscle, tendon, and ligament repair, and is naturally found in the gut. This sounds like BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157). Peptide 3: Focuses on muscle recovery, immune system enhancement, and tissue repair. This could be Thymosin Beta-4 (TB-500). Peptide 4: A growth hormone-releasing analog that increases IGF-1 levels, aiding in overall tissue repair. This is likely Ipamorelin or CJC-1295.
You see from comments below how much people appreciate the honesty. These elite level athletes/media personalities/celebrities continue to be our inspiration/motivation to get fitter, stronger, healthier etc... fair play to MH for the transparency, it's a shame more people in this kind of position aren't so up front.
Based on the video transcript, here are the possible substances discussed: 1. Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator (SARM) / PPAR (Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor): • Likely referring to Cardarine (GW501516), which is known to enhance aerobic fitness and aid in fat burning by shifting energy utilization from carbohydrates to fat. 2. Peptide for Regeneration and Repair: • Possibly BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157), a peptide that aids in healing muscles, tendons, ligaments, and skin. 3. Peptide for Muscle Recovery and Immune Function: • Likely TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4), known for promoting muscle recovery, enhancing immune function, and tissue repair. 4. Growth Hormone Releasing Analog: • Probably Ipamorelin or CJC-1295, peptides that stimulate the release of growth hormone to aid in overall tissue repair, muscle recovery, and digestive health.
Good to see some transparency from someone as high profile as Mitch. Its really good to see that there are companies addressing use of performance enhancers and building profiles for clients, for those of us who train hard there are a LOT of us who have experimented and had issues because we are not doctors!
@@HonkeyKongLive EPO is absolutely something most of the strongmen will be taking, reduces chances of fatal sleep apnoea which most if not all suffer with not to mention just general endurance is very useful.
Huge props for talking about this man! Its understandable you cant name names or dosages. Just thinknits bad ass you are willing to talk about it at all!
Learned something new, wasn't aware of this, just a spectator of strongman here. The last peptide that might or will increase your heart worries me the most. You are keeping track of it like you said, to minimaze the damage it might inflict so that's reassuring. I prefer natural way, but in professional sport I guess there is no such thing and if you want to have equal chances you gotta opt for it as well, just how it is. Anyway thanks for the video, learned something new
First off, the thumbnail is absolutely epic lol. And second massive props for speaking a little more about this, and being objective about it. I agree that the regulation of a lot of these compounds is a bit much... but a little to much regulation is probably better then none at all.
You should not have done this video as it is clearly rubbish mate. How about we go with : - 2000mg/w of test - 800mg/w Decca - 6iu a day of growth Hormone Then cycling Anadrol as high as 200mg/day with short spurts of Tren Ace and Halo near competitions. So you are trying to tell us the "Worlds Strongest Man" (Which is not drug tested) takes all this rubbish instead of the real stuff. Were these peptide sellers paying you for this rant ?
The secret to being this strong is peds.... It's not a different mind set or a special programme or a particular supplement it's the peds... Look at natural strongman there is a clear difference and that difference is the use of peds. End of story Maybe as a professional athlete and especially as a health professional you should have a little more integrity...
Biochemical correction (for the interested): Not even Mitchell Hooper take Peroxisome proliferated-activated receptors (PPAR's) of any sort! However, he might take some compound that acts as a ligand for some PPAR in his cells (more specifically; in the nuclear membranes of his cells). Receptors are always the targets for pharmacology. Ligands are what we shoot at them - by needle, cream or pill - in order to get an effect. To eat a receptor to target a peptide, is like throwing a hole to hit a ball. In other words, the first peptide he discuss acts on PPARs, however it IS NOT a PPAR
I for one appreciate your honesty. I see no need to lie about it, to be the best, you must do what ever it takes. Hooper, I’m driven by you. You motivate me. Thank you!!! From Nova Scotia, Canada -Kory Bell
I can’t keep up with your training program, let alone peptides.! Trying to create an appropriate strength program seems to be out of reach. Calgary barbell puts together a straightforward plan without the confusion…imo. Great athlete bro, but it’s way too confusing for a mid strength athlete. Still a fan, don’t get me wrong.
This is my guess as to what they could possibly be. Make sure to do your research, look at the pros AND CONS. And of course, do not take anything that your doctor is not on board with and only if it is absolutely necessary to your quality of life. 1. Cardarine 2. BPC 157 3. TB-500 4. CJC 1295
Hope the growth hormone secretagogue isn't MK677. I measured the change in insulin requirements on that once and it pretty much doubled the amount of insulin I needed by day 2. There's a lot of people taking that right now on high carb diets who've got type 2 diabetes waiting for them down the line as a result.
Pretty sure he didn't mention them so he doesn't get strikes or demonetized, he did mention what he was taking in a previous video in detail and mentioned, names, tesamorelin, bpc-157 and TB4 Just a heads up though big guy I think injections on your channel can get strikes and demonetization too, I immediately had that thought when I saw that.
Cardarine is not sarm and i would put it category with peptides. If you need i would program low intensity cardio(with crosstrainer or something), which is kind of hard in strongman because then you have to eat more more but anyways.
As long as it’s prescribed then you’re safe. I hope others can find more progressive medical practitioners who will help people with their issues or improved health and performance of their bodies.
The vibes of this particular video (the way he’s talking & video transitions) reminds me of that Asian guy w long hair who talks about stretching 😂 ifykyk
@abny14 be lucky that he's even talking about it all all. That's why I subbed to the moose over a year ago cause I seen a video where he went more in depth on certain things that are normally hush hush. Kids need to know that just hard work and eating right isn't going to make u look like arnold and that there are dire consequences.
If you ACTUALLY have ANY interest. These are extremely easy to find based on the descriptions he gives. Use that big muscle in your head instead of looking for gifts.
💯 I love you, your channel, and ESPECIALLY your message, “Lift heavy, be kind.” Question, without any sponsors or anything, how much would your peptide and medical monitoring and blood work routine cost per month?
Happy to see the honesty out there about this issue. It's time for everyone to just be honest about how they get where they are, from Stongman to actors.
Youre the man Mitchell! Ty for be honest and very mindful of how you discuss these topics that seem to be so taboo elsewhere. You really have a way of boiling info down to the objective facts and conveying that in an entertaining discussion. I appreciate it! #LHBK
@jaycolucci I will have a guess at his real stack off season. Gh 3iu, don't want it too high or it reduces grip strength. Testosterone 1500 Deca 800 50mg dbol/day when a few weeks out from PB territory
As someone that always struggled putting weight, even with a high calorie diet, and past 30y/o, what would you recommand as basic peptide, as natural as possible to gain weight. According to my nutrition knowledge, I'm under 18% body fat, close to 15% and i haven't the best skin health, stress probably a major factor here.
No processed foods, no sugars. Take Ashwagandha and Standard Process Drenamin to reduce cortisol. Acne indicates poor methylation and poor microbiome. Low carb until issues resolve and turds look healthy. If digestion is constantly off consider taking betaine HCL with pepsin and ox bile.
but how can a high calorie diet (compared to your caloric needs, not general population) not result in gaining weight? Are you immune to thermodynamics? also 15-18% bodyfat is perfect for building muscle, altthoug your nutrition knowledge couldnt possibly tell anything about your bodyfat. If your stressed sleep more and take stress reducing supplements like ashwagandha.
@@einstein7820 high metabolisme, add stress, there you have all calories burned pretty quickly. I ain't complaining about my body fat, but considering the amount of effort I put in the gym I would expect some small gains at least. Probably missing protein, that's all I can see.
@@sharpestbulb I'd also ask how much he's eating in general. Are you tracking your eating Nick? A lot of people think they eat a lot but in reality it's not that much. I've had problems gaining muscle too as I'm not really a big eater.
Says you can’t talk about it….literally Derek from more plates more dates will talk about everything…pretty bummer click bait video. He’s talked about his use before and what it was. But now this…👎
@@beclops he’s literally talked about his peptide usage before and named them…and I’ll say what ever I want. It was a 20min ad for “getbloks” more like get jokes…want to be transparent just be transparent…we all know test and steroids are involved…and guess what no one cares because they do super human things we all want to see
@@ericrutledge1290Okay? And this time he didn’t for the reasons he mentioned. Obviously test and steroids are involved, but admitting to using legal research chemicals and admitting to using illegal controlled substances are vastly different in the eyes of sponsors and contest holders and if you can’t see that then I’m not sure what you were gonna be able to do with the info in the first place
@@beclops ehhh I can literally do everything with the information…you think I don’t know how to do my own research…I want him to not claim transparency because he’s not being that…I’m a big fan of his…but if you’re going into this detail but won’t say the name why make the video
@@ericrutledge1290 If you don’t know which substances he’s talking about in the context of this video with the info provided then you shouldn’t be touching any of them in the first place. The others are obviously not mentioned because they’re illegal. None of this should be complicated to you
Its a ldil clickbait i think thats not so kind but just my opinien would be good to change the title to somphing which is actully explained or shown in the vid
99% sure that he is taking (in order) GW-501516, BPC-157, TB-500, and or CJC-1295 / Tesamorelin / Ipamorellin. The last 3 are all very similar and are often ran together for synergistic effects.
Great insight to what most already know.. the gym rats calling out for quick guide of what to take should be ignored as they will spend their pennies on all the additional supplements but not invest in blood work and put in the graft needed. 👍👍
