Have you ever thought about bringing out like a Novem&Knight perfume? You could do like a his and hers (one by you and one by Jason)? Think that would be dope 😍
I loved how you describe what you're feeling when you wear each individual perfumes. Something diff from everyone describing the scent that can be found online!
I just bought and love By The Fireplace! Also, if you want to make Blue Agava and Cacao a little deeper and less sickly, try layering it with the Jo Malone Oud and Bergamot! I LOVE the combination and can never stop sniffing myself when I'm wearing it.
Tom Ford Noir Pour Femme is without doubt my favorite scent of all time. It's literally so versatile, it can be worn in the daytime, nighttime, summer and winter. It's musky and sexy but at the same time not at all heavy. It's been my signature scent for such a long time now! Tom Ford also has the same perfume in a unisex version, which is also amazing!! I was so excited to see this in your collection, because I feel like it's not really a fragrance that a lot of people wear and talk about! xo
Perfume collection videos are some of my favorite! The Aerin perfumes are definitely on my wish list. I love the scents and the packaging so much. Also, congrats on your engagement!
Coco Chanel has been my favorite for 16 years now. If you love these types of perfumes, try Fredric Malle "Portrait of a Lady". Also, others that I love are: TF Noir De Noir. TF Velvet Orchid. Byredo Black Saffron. Serge Lutens Vanilla.
i recommend you try La Vie Est Belle by Lancôme, its one of those scents that you instantly get complimented on, its very attractive and expensive smelling
a suggestion. I would love to see you do a video on various fashion designer brands such as Chanel, Tom Ford,YSL..etc. and describe what you like about their brand and what makes them great.
my favourite perfume is Chloé by Chloé. So many people seem to have and know about it and i guess that it's pretty 'mainstream', but it's honestly such a nice scent. It has rose in it and i'm actually not so big on the rose smell, but the composition of the notes compliment each other so well and it's the only one i wear, my signature scent. i get compliments literally every single time i wear it and people tell me how it fits me. and i agree, it's a great perfume - feminine, light and fresh!
I HAVE BEEN WAITNG FOR THIS VIDEO FOR AGES!!! All of these are on my list to splurge for myself and them being your favorite just makes me want them more.
You clearly are so passionate about fragrance and perfume, it's so nice to watch! Honestly if you were to bring out your own fragrance I would definitely be the first to buy it. Love this video 😊 X
I love her make up lately, seems so minimal but really smokey and lovely. Also, major congratulations on the proposal 😍 you guys make such a good pair.. Look forward to the dress reveal 🙈🍾🍾🍾💍
Really loved this video. I really enjoyed how you talked about what you imagined/what mood you're in when you select each perfume, as that really gives an idea of what kind of a scent it is, even more than just describing what's in it. Made me want to collect perfumes! I'd love it if you could do more of that kind of format, maybe with your clothes as well? Like a style diary of what kind of mood you're trying to portray that day? xx
I used to be overwhelmed by Opium the original because my grandma wore it all the time but it wears totally different on me. I'm now using it in place of Coco Chanel as a daily fragrance. It's not as invasive but I had to switch to an organic deodorant. You should try it Sam, it's just feminine.
Aaaah I feel you ! I am obsessed with perfumes, I am wearing perfume every single day of the week, even on Sundays even for staying at home... I just feel naked when I don't ! (my French side, sorry) Seems like we have a lot in commons when it comes to perfumes :) Black Opium is my go-to perfume when I want to feel ready, sexy, put together on mornings, but this is frustatring sometimes to smell it on a lot of people. It has been a hit in France... Aaaand I would also recommand you *Clair de Musc* by Serge Lutens (all the perfumes are GREAT), it's like a musc for the day, a very classy and elegant version of the fragance... I wear it for business meetings or get-togethers with friends. I can't wait to wear again *Rosabotanica* by Balenciaga, a very original and fresh rose perfume. Always get compliments on it. Perfect for spring and summer... have a sniff at it next time you pass by Sephora, I'm pretty sure you'll like it :) Cheers !!!
I remember watching your videos back in 2012 etc when you were complaining about not knowing how to describe perfumes, and now you made a special video for it! GOOD JOB SAMMI! :D
i love your way of describing scents in the way of how you picture a person wearing it. thats so different and i have to expand my perfume collection now ❥
I've worn Chanel Beige for a few years. Usually for special occasions. Don't hear many people talk about it. I'm in my early 30's but I'm a brunette! :)
i actually love the way you described the perfumes! it was really helpful to envision the different places/times you would wear each one which is definitely how i shop for perfumes
I'm the same as you when it comes to wanting to wear scents that other people don't wear.I think a perfume is a very personal thing for a woman, especially as it can be really nostalgic. I think we have similar tastes in perfume, I have the same Jo Malone one and also Black Opium by YSL. I really want to smell the replica scents but haven't been able to yet. I'm not going to lie, when you first mentioned that you wear that Jo Malone scent some time ago, I was slightly annoyed because I've never known anyone else to even know what that one is and I thought some of my friends who watch you too would go out and buy it but luckily they haven't! That is my daytime scent and I even have two back ups! Black Opium is very popular and even my best friend wears it, luckily it smells different on us which is good! x
I have a few of the ones you mentioned, and a favorite of mine is also Tom Ford Noir! SO GOOD. but another one you may like, that I've been wearing on pretty much a daily basis lately is Jo Malone's Pomegranate Noir. It's a perfect daytime, Spring/Summer scent that has enough musk and fruitiness at the same time. Give it a go!
We have such opposite taste in perfume, except for Black Opium haha. But it's so interesting how I can almost get a sense of your personality just through your taste in fragrance alone.
Love how you describe the perfumes and describe the type of woman you can imagine wearing it, it really makes me want to go out and smell them! I'm so intrigued by Tom Fords's Noir Femme ahhh x
Congrats Sami! U deserve all the happiness in the world. Ur pics from Mauritius are totally body goals! And he videos give me life! Thanks for the spirit lift doll!!
I love Chanel no.5 for the exact same reason! My nana has always worn it and I like to wear it on days where I feel down! love you sammi have a good Valentine's Day xxx
Another perfume I would definitely recommend is Exclamation by Coty. It's really classic, unique and super inexpensive. I just think it has a very interesting and magical ladylike scent.
Straight hair suits you soooo well! I don't know if they are available in the UK, but you should definitely try out the Serge Lutens perfumes. It is a french brand which does a lot of special and musky scents!
The way you explained the smell actually is helpful for me. Haha! But the perfume that really piqued my interest are the Tom Ford Noir and Chanel Beige. I have to try those! 😍
Congratulations on yours and Jason's engagement!!! You should try Marc Jacobs Decadence, its a new one for me but already one of my all time favourites
I feel the same way about Burberry Body, I definitely have to be in the mood to wear it but its Tender version is absolutely amazing for day to day wear, on me it becomes much more peachy than floral and I absolutely adore it, you have to give it a sniff if you haven't already!
This is my favorite video you've ever done and definitely my favorite video I've seen in a while. They way you described scents by how you feel and who you envision wearing them was actually really descriptive and helpful. I can also tell that you totally know your stuff and love fragrances. AMAZING JOB. My favorite is Diptyque "Florabellio" - it's really interesting I think you'd like it!
I love this. My Mum has also only ever worn YSL Rive Gauche since I was little so it's super nostalgic for me too but I hardly ever hear it mentioned xx
Oh my god! The Black Opium perfume is everything! Love you Sammi :) I have been follow you forever, so good to see your evolution :) very happy for you honey
I've made a lot of perfume mistakes but have now found a fav.Liz Earle No15. For an unusual but great scent try Jack (unisex). The candle of it is amazing.
