note that it isnt a regular 65% wkl layout but symmetrical meaning that essentially 0.25u was taken away from the normal 1u wkl blocker and added to the 0.5u 65% right side blocker making both of them 0.75u figured it wasnt explained that thoroughly in the video

Mine came in yesterday, I just finished building it minutes ago. Waited long enough for it and its finally here and finished. I think this is my real endgame keyboard because its unreal, this is quality I never felt from a KBD fans groupbuy. everything on it is next level

I don't think video analytics dropping off at a sound test necessarily means that viewers hate them in videos. Rather, I think its the only thing they want to see. For a lot of people once they hear how a board sounds that's really all they need to hear, they've made a decision at the point. Keeping long-form typing tests at the end of the video is a smart move...but I'd drop the narrative that we all hate sound tests because myself and a lot of other people adore them 😂

I love the HHKB layout on my Rama Works Koyu, but I kind of want a 75% custom to have my F keys back for games. No Super key in the bottom row would be a deal breaker for me - I'm too used to hitting it to start searching for programs in both Linux and Windows.

Woooooooooh everything went so fast after 'LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooo.....' my brain is still processing. This keyboard looks apart from the mass for sure, I have hopes for the ISO-FR layout, please KBDF provide keycaps to go along ! And thanks for the tip about the Mandalorian caps, I will definitely have a look. (Did you had problem with compression or VBR ? It seems like this video is a bit too compressed or at least not on par with the other over-the-top quality content you provide image-wise).

Dieter Rams isn't an aesthetic it's a system of design that, in its most fundamental way, is about eliminating designed elements that do not serve to make the object more useful. So following his 10 principles of design, the RGB badge, and the corner blocker badge (and even the WK blocker) would be superfluous and eliminated. There's also the obvious question of "why should a keyboard look like an alarm clock from the 70s". Overall, this is neither "modern" (designs that make significant references to unrelated objects are not typically considered "modern" in the academic/professional sense, and sort of fall under "postmodern design") nor has anything to do with Dieter Rams. It comes across as disingenuous, as if someone has fetishized/appropriated the aesthetics of a movement without actually understanding the movement. I think it looks interesting, but I just wish the designers hadn't associated this with Dieter Rams.

i was able to get in on the related keycap set - i was in love with this keyboard when they showed it off in the render, i was frantically asking around to see if anyone knew whether this keyboard existed - im glad this is a real thing

God I would love this. But I really can't justify spending this much on a keyboard ever. As much as I love my mechs, it's so hard to get into these super boutique GBs because of how expensive it is. Oh well. At least this will definitely get made and people will get to use a really badass board like this.

Have you considered using this board on a plateles build? I managed to get mine built plateless and honestly it's one of the best typing experiences that I've had the pleasure of trying so far. The only downside is that it was very challenging soldering all the switches in correctly without any misalignments.

Are winkeyless boards really making a comeback? Back in the day they were for pure keyboard snobbery. I'm sure it's the same today. I mean the Win key is more useful than it's ever been! The design ques it picked up look great though!

Looks amazing, will probably hop in the GB. Did you happen to get your hands on a Grid 650? Most people in that GB have received theirs - I love mine, got the white case with black LED strip, hotswap & gasket version. Looks awesome, especially with some AKKO Macaw ASA keycaps.

@Badseed Tech I'm new to this diy mechanical keyboard. I'm a novice programmer and finally looking to buy my first custom build but I'm scared lol. I looked at the kbd fans assembled keyboards and saw the KBD75 v.3.1 Hotswapped with OSA Marrs Green PBT Doubleshot Keycaps. I'm having trouble picking switches as there are so many options, looking for something quiet as I'm going to be typing/gaming alot. If you could help me out that would be great. Love your channel BTW

This actually looks sick, but, a very huge but, when you're going to be spending huge amounts of money on a keyboard, you'd expect it to be hotswap, because realistically most people spending that much money on a keyboard are enthusiasts and I feel like having hotswap is a must for an enthusiast keyboard. I don't know if it's just a prototype thing, but I'm pretty disappointed because it sounds and looks really good.

Don’t have the Box Inks yet. My bobas are silent so I’m not sure they’ll do the board justice. And I love the sound of the Epsilons, I put them in my KBD67 Lite with MT3 and its the deepest sound. Just wish they weren’t orange.

Really awesome keyboard! I would definitely consider this one. I wish it wasn't Winkeyless though, that is probably the biggest downside. Like you said, it would be awesome if that LED bar popped out on the top left of the keyboard. Nice video!

Not a customs guy and I find most of them pretty daft and pretentious with no real difference between them. This one however....this one I get the appeal. Damn that board sounds nice, looks really good and whilst I have seen that kind of mounting system before this one does stand out. This one makes it real tempting to join the customs crowd.

Not having the upper left be movable or an addressable light is such a miss. I'd be annoyed every time I looked at it. The blocker also should have been a programmable OLED.
