My Personal History With Yandere Dev and Yandere Simulator 

Thank you everyone for the massive support! People from my Instagram and tiktok and new folks from RU-vid! I made this video a few weeks ago now and I’m surprised do see all the views and support from my brand new RU-vid. I hope to make more content in in future but for now I only really have time to repost stuff from tiktok as I’m working on my finals right now. Thanks again everyone! ❤

I feel like the art change requests are very indicative of Alex's character and his unwillingness to accept new ideas and criticism. That original "nerd girl" design was very cute and creative but was pushed aside for Alex's original and ,imo, worse idea.

Biggest middle finger you could give to him is use the lovely designs you made and make a better story for them. Your designs are very unique and expressive and shouldn’t be thrown to waste by a rotting dirtbag of the internet who can’t grasp the basic important things to making a game (visuals and coding)

The fact that he essentially plagiarized (if not outright stole), the original characters you created for the shopkeepers absolutely infuriated me. You were beyond kind to him. The fact that he made you create characters for a project he should have known he would be unable to pursue from the get-go is also absurd. Your generosity and tolerance is commendable. You’re the one who made the old 1980’s shopkeeper designs ?!?! I just wanted to say how much I love them. It really shows the, “1980’s” thing really well and when 1980’s mode first released became some of my fav official Yansim art.

he's such a vile person. personality, ethics, interests, treatment of others - it's all so disgusting. it sucks he managed to fool so many people for so long. I cannot believe how there's not an singe ounce of decency in this human being. there is abolutely no redemption of "at least he did x". no. all of him is terrible. i hope he ends up rotting somewhere, with no one ever giving him even the slightest bit of attention. and I hope everyone who got wronged by him can heal overtime.

5:15 I find it strange and a little messed up that Yanderedev told this artist that Mulberry's art style was "better" suited for 80s mode when they drew the characters in their usual art style, it doesn't really look like an anime style from the 80s 💀

Everything that happened to you fills me with fustration and rage. I'm not an artist, but what happened was so difficult to hear. So glad you're no longer working with him; he didn't deserve your art at all.

6:35 don’t feel bad that your work isn’t in Yan Sim- your work deserves to be in much better projects because frankly- you are way out of their league. I also wanted to say when they originally designs for the shop keeps came out- I fell in love cause it reminded me of the simplicity of some horror mangas back in the 80’s! I’m not sure if it was intentional but it’s really smart to have a simple art style because it invokes dread and the feeling that something is not right- very fitting to the game mode! This is especially important for the hair dresser- an actual serial killer you get the sense that there’s something not right with her and I love it!!!

5:04 struck a nerve. I fear I may be dead come the day employers finally start listening and recognising artists for what they can do and are good at. The experience thing really annoyed me for so many reasons.

I've never been able to properly draw, so I have a great amount of respect for people who can actually make art for everyone to admire. It completely breaks my heart that hours of work and effort get tossed aside as if they were dolls a child no longer wants to play with. This probably isn't the only case unfortunately, but it is one of the saddest ones I've ever heard. I sincerely hope you are in a position were your work is actually being appreciated (even better if you are getting paid too).

Man, the pain in your voice when you've been talking about this ugly experience with the 80's mode...damn, I felt it. I felt it with all my heart. It's so unfair and disgusting - the way he uses people as some sort of disposal material: he deserves to be treated exactly how he was treating people.

I may be late to the party, but I'm glad you spoke up about this. Seeing those beta designs was really cool, and seeing the 1980's filter on them would have been cool. I hope that you will get to (or maybe already are!) getting to do something with either those characters or that style of design.

As someone who’s was a fan of the game and especially the art style(it was one of my main reasons to start drawing) it leaves such a bitter taste in my mouth to someone who I’ve been a fan do something so vile and disgusting,I’m genuinely happy to see that most of the people who worked for Alex are quitting honestly you guys truly deserve to not have your talents wasted on a terrible project and I truly hope the people who are affected by Alex’s actions are doing well

Honestly, I was really impressed when the "placeholders" shopkeepers were replaced. The ones you made felt so much more like an 80's anime aesthetic, and I really liked them.

I suggest making a visual novel with these designs! They're so great and I think they could tell a really cool story. :^D

I've been aware of Alex's grooming behavior for a few years now. I was groomed at 14 and seeing him get away with it for so long seriously fucked with me.

I remember loving your art for the shopkeepers so so much! The designs and style were so good and they made the shops feel almost homey. When I saw the art was replaced in a new update, my first response was "????? Why??? The original art was so good!" I still can't believe he replaced it like that :/

Surprisingly... I left YanSim after discovering Undertale first from its Easter egg in YanSim then fully joining the fandom and never paid attention... Gods, I never thought it will take such turn... Nevertheless, I am glad it didn't make you abandon your passion. Enjoy your life and everything good in it. You deserve it.

It sucks to know I used to support that pedophile, especially because when I was younger I was groomed, I hope he gets arrested as much as you do. I'll always know your Yandere Simulator work because you did phenomenally on it, I actually remember your shopkeeper designs and not Mulberry's rehashings, that's how well your work has always been known to me since it was so unique. I agree with everyone else, his controllingness is very indictive of his personality. You can't argue that he's like that due to passion, there's a difference between being very very passionate and scummy.

I heard of the Yanderedev-related drama and I no longer support that creep. Sure, his project seemed to have potential, but with his true nature exposed, I believe the game's concept is better off as fanart & fanfiction, but this time without monsters like him being in charge. Honestly, Your artworks for the game look much better than the redrawn ones, and Yandev had absolutely no right to hurt You like this. Rememeber: if the so called 'famous yet demanding' folks like him can't appreciate simple but true art, then someone else will. Hakuna matata and God bless You dearly!

Truth is, WankdereDev was never worth supporting. After over a decade of Cashdere Milkator, I was hoping all the nonsense finally died, so I'm surprised (and quite honestly disgusted) that it's still somehow stinking to this very day. I just casually stumbled upon this video, and after seeing your story, you seem to me like a wonderful human being and I quite honestly wish you the best. Cool designs, by the way! :>

Your art has a very interesting and recognizable appeal, and whilst I have respect for the artists that fall under the "good" category, yours gives off the vibe of just... passion for something you really like, whilst the other smells like just a transactional exchange and nothing further. If I had the ability to make my own version of YanSim (I’m a minor with no video game programming experience so unless I learn as an adult, it’s unlikely), I’d 100% hire you to work on art pieces for it :)
