Sometimes I blow out smoke and reinhale it. Never tried it with bubbles though... 😳 I'll try soon! I figure, I should be able to be locked in a water filled chamber for 20 minutes! I probably should practice first, but that seems like a lot of work. I'll just skip that boring step and start building the water chamber. Subscribe for updates when I upload the video! ☺️ And if I never upload the video, I might have died. But that's unlikely, since I'll spend 5 minutes watching how moles breathe underwater before I get locked in the tank. Carbon dioxide is probably fine for 20 minutes. I better not do 30, though. That's when CD starts getting dangerous. 🥺
@Jack K Moles are actually perfectly capable of swimming! It's a skill they developed for when their tunnels and the surrounding area flood during rainy seasons and such. This is true of Golden Moles as well, like the one in the video. They can generally swim for up to an hour if need be. So the lil' guy is fine, and they relocate it back into dirt at the end of the video anyway.
What amazed me is that the mole has a sense of height. It didn't jumped of the slipper. It can't really see, but is still smart enough to not hop over an edge where it doesn't know the end of it. Even though it's in a scary 'life-threatening' situation.(as far as the mole is aware)
Lol 😂This is absolutely adorable! I’ve always thought that Moles were cute. I just twisted my ankle stepping in a Mole hole! 😩😆 The spray lady came out and startled the poor little guys.. so they went running crazy underground. She told me she sprayed extra good because she saw a Mole area infestation.. I said “thank you” trying not to seem like a weirdo and seem upset. Bwahaha! Anyway, this is amazing! A swimming Mole! Who knew?
The mole might drown, if you're going to have him swim always give him access to a way out of the water because his feet don't reach the bottom of the water. And make sure he is choosing to go in the water rather than being put in the water. Also if there is chlorine it may not be good for him.
Yes I wondered about that. They have a broader nose than proper moles, and are much bigger and stronger. Some species like this one are actually very much at home out of the ground and can even scale bushes and trees looking for food!
Maybe they call them garden moles in South Africa, but it is indeed a golden mole. They don't have other moles in South Africa. There are many species of golden moles though.
moles are so cute i hate that some people dont relocate moles when they find them in their lawn. i was just arguing with a bunch of "alpha males" who were all bragging about ( *warning this is graphic and phycotic*) how they kill them with shovels ,pitchforks, shotguns, fire, water and stabbing them.
@@THESLlCK I mean, I live in the south and I don’t see how this isn’t believable in the slightest. My dad is a basement coder and even he only really uses the animal safety traps for my sister lol. He’d be happy to shoot the lil gophers and shit, they’re annoying. I know people a couple hours south of us that will beat armadillos with a bat when they find em. Can’t always wake ur neighbors up at 2am, can’t always let ‘em go so they hurt ur dog or fuck up ur yard more later, so ya kill em. Not that big a deal, but yeah going around bragging about it to ur buddies, although kinda sociopathic imo, does not seem outside the realm of plausibility in any way lol..
@@THESLlCK we have shotguns at our hardware stores that you can fill up with tablesalt and shoot shit in ur yard with. They sell that at Ace hardwares, u know that, right? I swear I’ve stabbed like 7 snakes before, how tf else are u gonna separate the head? Most dudes here will separate the body and head before burying. Literally not made up in the slightest, happens every single day to every single kind of animal in every single way imaginable. We skin fkn squirrels to make jerky out of em, u think dudes wouldn’t stab a goofy lil mole with a pitchfork? If it’s a rodent, and it’s not a pet, it’s vermin, and therefore a problem to be dealt with. Little critters really do quite a bit of damage to our property, so it’s not as much a choice to kill vermin as it is just common sense. Costs hella money.
So cool! We have house moles lol. I feed them cheerios. They eat the dogs food as well. We don't have a pool anymore tho sadly. Too many holes in the backyard.😈😁😁😁😁😁🐾thanks for the cute vid!
You might be able to, but it’s not advisable. They need food every 2 hours. And the food has to be live insects and earthworms. They are seriously high maintenance because of their fast metabolisms.
Please if anyone has access to a mole PLEASE do not put in water.. this is not natural and is dangerous for the mole.. most animals can swim but no, the mole does not like it in the pool. Xx
That poor Moli is swimming FOR IT'S LIFE. In the nature Moles DON'T SWIM you are putting that mole in a very stressful situation and that is bad for a mole. Please don't do that ever again >:C
