Great deck kiratwig! I also realized Phantasm vs Atlanteans is actually Normal vs Effect, as Atlanteans gain effects when triggered by water monsters’ effects, what a cool lore!
I used to play this deck when the Link era started using paleozoics, the deck has a neat idea but the execution is a bit odd because you couldn't use non-effect monsters to extend some combos, but back then with metaverse and terraforming at 3 it was very valuable, I used to run a more paleozoic control oriented deck with cards like Monster gate (to get rid of the token) and reasoning to turbo out beatdown, other cards included gozen match and torrential tribute, as a fun card I used to play 1 testsudo erat numen to troll my opponent and make him waste their Main Phase if not the whole turn. I have a friend now who plays similar to you build but without te equips and the dragon, is pure normal monster control with the token providing the beatdown with sea stealth attack and champion's vigillance is a great card but because of the limitation of terraforming and metaverse and the lack of recycling the spiral traps the deck has a rough time playing in the long game as it is.
This deck can use Dogmatika Punishment like a boss in tangent with N'tss for extra removal. Paleozoics double as normal water monsters which synergies well with this engine. It really is all about how one plays this deck.
