My Philosophy on Keybinds and Actionbars

It’s 1am I thought tonight “I wonder what the old homie Hansol is up to these days” glad to see you still playing!

I use MWup fireball, Middle mouse F-blast, Mdwn pyro, shift wheel up scorch,shift middle mouse kick( although I use 1,2,3 kick on mmo mouse) , shift wheel down Phoenix flame. This gives me full freedom of movement with left hand + the ability to activate CD’s at the same time such as combust, defensive/blink/DB. Kiting/juking/ moving and casting is a breeze with my setup

personally i adore using scroll wheels , as a melee (warrior) it's literally the SINGLE "button" or wheel u would say that gave me the most convenience and joy along with the inspiration of having a keyboard like urs so that i get to bind F1-5 keys personally i use scroll up/down for charge and pummel , and Ctrl scroll up / down for parry and human racial , and im actually using mini keyboard just so i could easily press ctrl not bending my little finger but with the button left area of my palm , it's literally so much fun seeing how reactive and proactive the gameplay is this way not that big of a fan of shift mod coz it kinda annoys me having to bend my little finger everytime but i still bind shift scroll up /down to berserking rage and spell reflect so for me , the 2 best keys are scroll wheels (6 keybinds) and pressing ctrl with my palm

backpaddling can be useful sometimes. if i play rogue or warrior and got evasion or die by the sword up, i backpaddle sometimes to avoid getting hits in the back. same thing when tanking in pve. backpaddling was also useful when i had to stay behind people to ambush/backstab them and they camped in weird spots. i also got a keyboard without space between the f keys.

A bit unconventional but I recently realized you can bind the thumb buttons on your mouse to Ctrl and Alt. This opens up a lot of otherwise very inefficient or even near-impossible key combos...

One thing that might be useful imo. is caps lock its a key in a very great place with very little actual use so, if you bind caps lock to something else then you can use caps lock as a button. I have it bound to Left control, you could also do alt or any other key if you dont want it to be a modifier.

I might be missing something... but why do you need a different showtooltip cooldown tracking thing? I mean why not just put fireball on a hidden bar and shifting power on a visible one? What are you achieving with that trick?

u can use ur mid mouse button too like wheel up and down plus the modifiers like crtl shift alt and if u wanna zoom in i use for expample alt wheell up and down

Hi Hansol can u do a video with your download files for Gladius+Gladiusex cooldowns set up with it? i think a lot of people would appricate that also i tried to put my gladius a lot of different spots on my screen but i just can't find a right spot for it because i tent to tunnel vision it a lot would you recommend having gladius all the way to the side? i have seen some pro players do this. Thanks in advance!

movement with double mouse click strafe left with mbutton 4 strafe right with mbutton 5 backpedal is the DPI button on my mouse that is just behind the scroll wheel. handy to put back against wall for example so rogues cant step kidney me thru evasion. backpedal is good for better freedom of movement as well. leaves whole keyboard for binds put off gcd spells on ring finger to not put my fingers "on global" when combining with other spells arena targeting mwheelup - arena1 middle mouse - arena 2 these are with shift for focus 1 2 3 and ctrl for party 1 2 3 mwheeldown - arena 3 this leaves 0 gcd on fingers and can perma swap targets without wasting time trinket on alt mwheel down racial on alt mwheel up alt is the modifier that won't put my pinky on global so I can do trinket into focus shadowstep kick, etc (all focus spells and targets are on shift) I put my spells for rogue especially in a way where the sequence of combos is smooth and doesn't put my fingers on global. for example, I wanna shadowstep mfd kidney my focus target. shift S (focus step) + shift 1 (focus mfd) + shift D (kidney) combo point spenders on pointer keys like 3, E, D to combine with mfd. vanish step sap Z + S + G (with shift for focus) shadow dance step sap Q + S + G stealth step sap A + S + G cheap shot on T to combo and so on ring finger for off gcd, middle for shadowstep or sprint (X), cc spells, kicks etc on pointer finger. if I wanna vanish cloak sprint I press Z + C + X similar stuff on ww and warrior ww combo sef with spells, roll with spells etc warr d stance/bstance on A for no gcd on fingers, same goes for ignore pain on Z for no gcd on fingers. can press it anytime. sharpen on Q, banner on 1, ring finger off gcd finger. I can go on forever, I do have OCD problems and obviously having perfect keybinds isn't necessary in any way to get in r1 range. but good keybinds will def improve anyone's gameplay.
