Great again Mike. I'm a lifelong motercyclist of nearly 50 years on as many rural roads as possible combining with photography. A great combination Great series and congrats to you
Thanks Denis. Fancy coming on a Photo Biker motorcycle tour with me and doing this yourself? Check out the page link below... ... MIKE🙏😊 www.photographycourses.biz/workshops
Awesome Mike, except the Landie slur lol. The images looked fantastic and what an opportunity to get wider exposure for your photo biker workshops, super good. Very enjoyable.
Thanks Lisa 👍. TBH I like Landys. Especially the older 'Series' models. Whatever had crept unwanted into the shot would have been labled "Horrid' regardless. cars motorcycles, trucks, possibly even Keira Knightley ... MIKE 😆
Another enjoyable RU-vid video. Three mates having a laugh, taking some great images and “selling it”? Has a decision been made, possibly an update - is there a in press article / interview being published? Look forward to the next one.
Thanks Ian. No news yet. It'll be announced on our Facebook pages as soon as I know more. Links below... MIKE Photo Biker: facebook.com/mikebrownephotobiker Photography & Tips: facebook.com/DigitalPhotographyVideos Photo Creative Group: www.photographycourses.biz/photo-creative
What a fantastic idea for a magazine that could answer all my questions regarding both the bikes that are on ride and photography. I cannot get enough info on gear, accessories, methods, etc. Count me as an early subscriber! The best of all worlds would be a digital subscription that includes videos.
I prefer to go -03 to -1 and expose for the darkest object using centre weighted exposure, although it's hard to tell just how bright the light entering the gorge actually is. But it seems to have been fairly bright with how much difference even the +0.3 blew out, so could - have worked for that scene? Re 1st image
Light is always chaning and our eyes continually adjust so we can never trust them, or one method of finding the exposure we want Rob. With a bit of experience it only takes a few seconds to shoot, check and reshoot if needs be. Charlie was learning so we took our time in this case... ... MIKE🙏😊
"I didn't know my camera could do all this..." Sounds like most of us. Well done Mike, more power to you. Some good publicity to make your business grow 👍
Exactly - each to their own. I generally prefer viewfinder (though they're great for low or inaccessible angles) - yet my Photojournalist friend Muhammed Muheisen (x2 Pulitzer winning / AP chief photographer for Middle East) almost always uses live view on his DSLRs. Here's a great video about him and his work below... MIKE🙏😊 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nVg3zA7USs8.html
Hey Mike, I heard in this vid that you’re doing workshops in France. A mate of mine just moved there and opened a gite - more mid France rather than north. He’s a biker and a pro tog (I think his studio is also operational there now too) - let me know if it’s something I can ping you more info on.
