I’m glad that it was not worse and you are on the mend. The prey protection type behavior never goes away. This kind of thing happens to my husband a lot. Oscar is 5 years old now, but my husband still rushes into bed without giving Oscar a warning when he is cuddling with me. Oscar has tiny tusks, but they still rip open skin. The husband has so many scars now that it’s ridiculous.
