I am actually Indonesian but I grew up in Germany. My parents are both Indonesian who grew up there. Thankfully in our family we are very open and all these kinds of talk regarding intimate stuff was very normal. In my opinion the sex education in Germany is very hardcore for young children and it does not really fit to the Islamic approach of the Indonesian culture or any other Islamic cultures or even to the mental development of young children. I have also noticed that in Arabic or other Asian predominantly islamic cultures such as Indian, Turkish or Pakistani culture, all the people pretend that menstruation, sex Ed etc just do not exist. This leads to very bad assumptions on reproductive health in general. Your work is in my opinion very ground breaking and inspiring, especially with you a Hijabi Indonesian young woman.
