Yes! I was thinking about that as well when I was doing the video. I never tried the satin pillow case, but I heard its better to sleep with the satin than a cotton pillow case. Good tip!!

I just got Satin pillow case 2weeks ago when i cut my hair. It is the best! Hair last all week. I especially love it for my weeks I decide to style wit heat!

Thank you very much. I'm new to the short hair club and frustrated because my style do not last more than 48 hours after waiting 3 hours at the salon to get it done. I have all these supplies at home so I need to do my part to maintain it. Very helpful, thanks sis. I guess I better pin curl my hair at night to maintain the curls. ☹ I just want to wake up and go but it's not the simple. If I work out and sweat or take hot showers, forget it. 😞 hairstyle? Psh! It's pretty much ruined and I sweat a lot. 😟 I loveeeeee my short hair but the up keep is brutal. I'm not a hair person at all and thinking of going bald. 🙃

Awe no problem love!! Lol @going bald!! Yes, short hair can be hard to up keep at times. The pin curls do help a lot with keeping your style. In terms of showers and working out I would pin curl it and wrap it just like I did here...After I'm finish, I usually unwrap it (leaving in the pin curls) and let it air dry....the heat from the shower will definitely drop your curls...if the sides needs to be reset, you just use some foaming lotion on them and tie them down for a couple minutes.

You could use rollers. My hairstylist told ne to curl once a week so the heat wouldnt damage it and grow back faster. Pin curl it night. Iam still learning pin curls. Get some blue small rollers any beauty supply store. Once stylist style it. Add the rollers made be third night.Grease or oil scalp.

Do the pin curls like she did in video. I just suggest rollers becauae you not hair person. Dont go bald. Just keep practingr. You get it. By way rollers are about $0.99 at any beauty supply store. More you do your hair better you get at. Get some cute earrings. Do your made up.So even if your hair aint point you still look cute.

Great video I had a pixie cut in 2016 then let my hair grew back out because I didn't no how to maintain it at night. So I decided to get another pixie cut 2 days ago ago. Your video has really help this time around. I follow all the step you did and my curl just fell in place. Thanks for this video.

I had a pixie cut before but kind of did it spontaneously without researching enough how to maintain it etc. and I didn’t wear my haircut until it grew enough to flat iron all parts of it. I got it braided and would wear hats and stuff. Now I’ve grew my hair back out since then and looorrrrrddddd. I hate having hair!! And I’m low maintenance so I don’t really do much with it except ponytails and buns. I hate to even wear it down. So I really want short hair again but don’t wanna go natural (been there done that as well) so I want a pixie again but I know it’s work 😭 so I’m trying to prepare myself this time and have a routine down before I do it

I just got my hair cut yesterday and relaxed . This tutorial really helpers thank you soo much! Great help. I think I’m going to get a satin pillow case as well. I sleep bad so sometimes my scarp comes off.😩

How are your curls in the sides and in the back not flat ughh this is my struggle my hair is much shorter in the top and I still can’t hold a style unless I sleep propped up on a pillow which is totally uncomfortable 😣 I just got it done again today I’ll try it with a bonnet and wrap mesh and see what happens

I think it depends on certain factors, such as how your hair is cut, or what you use to tie it down....when I had cut off my bangs, I use to just tie it down with a wave cap and in the morning just rake it with my fingers and go...When it's this length, I don't have to pin curl the back when I first get it done, but as it gets older, I would pin curl the back to stand up before I go to bed. Then in the morning, when I take it out it's not flat. So if your hair is not to short and you can pin curl the back, try doing so...Also, try using a silk scarf or a silk pillowcase...a lot of the ladies on here have recommended using them to preserve their styles. Photo CG Thanks for watching....I don't take off my bonnet and wrap cap until after I shower....just make sure the back is fully covered... sometimes the very end by my neck will get wet and curl up..but I just take a little wrapping foam and put it on the end to reset it, then tie it down for couple minutes so it can lay flat again.
