I totally disagree with him. IDP provides the worst counseling services ever. And it's my personal experience. My counselor totally denied regarding the LOR thing. And i never got that one on one interaction. She didn't help me with scholarships.

Singh shabh, Is it possible to find a job without having a computer science degree.I talked to one or two people who is working in IT company.They told me that no one would provide you a job without a degree.They further add that when there are plenty of people available in the market who are much younger and talented than you then why would some hire you.I am learning web development by my own, but at the same time I am not sure whether or not I will be able to get a job.

*#Harnoor** Under NEW **#rules** - How many Years is **#H1B** Valid ?* (#Number of #years of permit and visa) you get when you get it the first time and 2nd time what's the validity when you have to renew it ? *do a lot of the companies sponsor and pay always for every application what's their cost for the same ?* You find them easily ? And are they many who sponsor in Corporate world for engineers and MBA grads and these kind of Jobs ? is it pure luck or something in #addition to get the H1B ? Is it #true many don't get it during the 3 year PGWP after applying everytime every year ?? *And you can apply for **#GREEN** CARD Immediately right ?*

@S g *By now your sister Should have been a **#US** CITIZEN and she should have been 10 years already as a **#CITIZEN** of US...* Correct me IF I am wrong !! You are saying 18- YEARS in US from 2004 and that too a #Doctor and that too pediatric, you haven't got the #Green Card ???? On what visa is your sister working practising for 18 years ? Also you don't have to wait for 10 years to apply for Green card .. is it not ? I never heard about it .. 18 years is very very very very long and that too in 2004 and all in that period .. that time it was even easier and now it might be slightly longer but Max to max within 8 to 10 years you should get the Green card itself as an Indian and for other countries it is even much shorter period .. do you have any real STATISTICS in total that shows for majority ? Correct me .. *(it is impossible to believe dear* cause this is one off case that you are telling me that too it is SHOCKING) and *Dear I also have examples where it took 8 to 9 - years total including residency and a doctor itself as an example - for the Green card and that's the known ones where i have seen it myself .. not just heard*

I guess on H1b kyuki residency is of 4 to 5 years And then I have to settle there itself permanently Tho green cards doctors ko jaldi nhi milega kya cuz its is highly respectable profession as compared to others..... And what will the waiting period for green card.....?

@@deveshgupta3627 Residency program is not that long and you can't just go there and start your residency just like that and it could not on H1B and can be in other visa category as well ..... And anyways all professions are respected not just Doctors !!! Your application might get some weightage but it is not like you will be skipped and prefered over others .. waiting period depends devesh and generally it is 8 to 10 years minimum and now ofcourse in recent times it could be much more also. Hope this helps.

This man speaks the truth. Let's give him a big round of applause 👏 I had a similar journey to Harnoor. I came to the US for my undergrad in CS too. First I started working in dining hall for $10.40 per hr. I cut down on that job so I could do an unpaid internship as a Junior Dev for a research institute. That helped me get a full time summer internship the next two summers. I wasn't able to do any part time internships. But I feel this gave me a lot of time to work on myself this final year and practice leetcode. I was done w my Bachelors in 3.5 but continued to stay 1 extra sem. Last month I got offered SDE at Amazon! I couldn't have been more happier. All those LC grind sessions finally paid off. I love the way harnoor mentions the 14 leadership principles. I would say I learned all of them and prepared situations as per STAR method. My advice to people in CS rn is take less stress, cut down on the dining job, focus on course related work, start early and finish fast. Thanks harnoor for your wonderful story man. I just felt like sharing mine after hearing yours. I personally love all the great videos you make😍

@@Theactualstoic so the concept of package and placement was created by Indian universities where certain companies visit your campus and pick people for recruitment, and they have certain “package” associated with company tier. In US we don’t have package or companies specifically visiting campuses for “placement”, everyone is eligible for any company as long as you apply to them or referred to them and the “package” is not fixed, it’s variable as per your skill level. Hope it makes sense, if any questions you can ask me here
