Hello! Thanks for this video! I saw on your site that you can swap the soap nut powder or shikakai powder with a mild clay such as kaolin clay. I see that there's bentonite clay on the recipe as well. Can we use kaolin clay (0.75g) plus bentonite clay (0.50 g)? And can we use Phenoxyethanol as preservative? :)
I have hair on the curlier side but my hair is very thin yet needs a lot of moisture. I stopped using harsh shampoos and conditioners more than a year ago. My curl pattern has improved a lot and it's no longer frizzy. I also have very sensitive skin and I once used a shampoo that had rosemary in it and I think it used to irritate my body (redness and itchiness). Now I use the boo bamboo shampoo which is good but I still suffer from oily hair and dry scalp. I also use a hair gel after rinsing my conditioner to trap in moisture in my hair. I've been really interested to try bar shampoos because of the zero waste aspect and I think that the simpler the ingredients the better it is for my skin and hair hopefully. I was wondering if you had any advice for me. Thank you for the insightful video
For a moment I was confused about what scindapsus pictus was lol..I didn't know that was its name! I have had it since last Autumn 2019, so about 7 months and now it turned into a Rapunzel. Give it lots of water every day and lots of light!
I actually make my own soap but I always go back to liquid because of the moisture and I love a lot of fragrance. I want to learn how to make liquid soap. The kind with potassium hydroxide. Have you ever played around with that? Do you have any liquid soap recipes you would not mind sharing. I think if I use the same pump container I can minimize waste. It’s hard when the food stores here are all packaged up as well. Grain, beans etc...
Ive been trying a shampoo bar and its leaves my hair just like yours, greasy and sticky in the back😔 ive doing apple cider vinegar rinse but it only works sometimes
No about the eucalyptus oil but I have a hair perfume recipe on my channel ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0kCwmyz7W7g.html&ab_channel=BottegaZeroWaste
What is in the dark color shampoo bar? It looks interesting. I want to try to make a tar shampoo bar. Do you think it is possible. The medicated shampoo I have to use sometimes has sls in it. It is sooo drying. Thank you.
