Alright I guess we're doing this. Let's go over my physical game collection for PS4. Sony's very succesful console where thousands of amazing games released. Well it turns out, I bought nearly 200 of them. And even crazier, the ones I bought, I can hold in my hand. Ahhh nostalgia. Well anyway, this is basically a podcast. So I don't expect anyone to watch this whole thing, but hopefully you get something out of this very long discussion surrounding the various games, PS4 exclusives, different genres, studios, publishers, keywords, and SEO that I mull on about.

This was incredible, what in insane library of PS4 games. Great to watch/listen while working. Made the last 2 hours go by fast. Now we need to for see you'r PS3 collection. Ive been here for years so a lot of these and WAY more ive seen already but crazy to see FF 1-6 being so expensive, I did not know that was how the physical print went down. Anyway great Tuesday video. You take it easy.

I personally think that PS4 is the best PS console. Not the PS2. I know, I have nostalgia from PS2 era too and I'd probably getting a lot of downvotes.... but to be honest if I have to choose to keep only one console (+the games on it) I'd rather choose PS4 over the PS2. TloU 1, Uncharted games, God of War 2018, Nier Automata, Persona 5, Death Stranding, Elden Ring, Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne, GTA 5, Red Dead 2, Spider Man 2018, Witcher 3, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil 8, Ghost of Tsushima, FF 7 Remake, Monster Hunter World, Shadow of the Colossus remaster, Control, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Yakuza Like a Dragon, Judgment, Lost Judgment... and probably a few others that I missed. For me personally this games were the best console generation games in my life.... not PS2 or 1 or 3.

@@inyrui All PS3 consoles can accept PS1 discs and play digitally purchased PS1 games. All PS3 consoles can play digitally purchased PS2 games. Only the first few PS3 models accept PS2 discs.

PS4 is such a special console. I came from the 360 generation when I got a PS4 and it was the most natural/logical thing to do for that generation of gaming.

Looking at my collection about 227 games and around $6,000 in value... Great collection you got and good on you for being up at the right time for the FF pixel remasters. Also happy to have my copy that I do play and hope I'll never have to get rid of it. However I have to say: You seriously don't have any Resident Evil games?!

It is only 20 minutes in so far, and my ps4 collection is 230 deep when it comes to physical games. I was excited to see this pop up before I started my work day. The crazy part is that my total value is probably going to be waaaaay less than yours. You're already at $400+ with barely touching the pile. Last time i peeked my total vaule, i was around $1,700. I will say I don't have anything super special. I don't do CEs or Limited Run/Similar. My most valuable game is Godzilla, which I had bought for $150. (Its still pricey) I do have my collection logged on price charting for the hell of it, and it's such a small percentage that goes up in value. Deadpool & Project DIVA X are two that come to mind. 7 Days to Die had an uptick for a while as well. Otherwise damn near 80% of my games are a whole $2-$5 in vaule, even great titles. At the same time, I can be thankful so many are cheap as dirt at the moment because I have many titles I still need to pick up & play. 😬

I learned a couple little tid bits about some of these games I didn't know before. It was relaxing to half ass watch but mostly listen to while doing my route at work. I got paid to listen to mystic. Its a good day when I can get away with that.

I put steel books at the end of the collection for each console and sort them alphabetically. Looks much better and doesn't mess with the feng shui.🤘

1:52:47 what sucks about the Tony Hawk Collection tho is that its mostly a download, the disc has a few megabytes on it. similar to a lot of Xbox Series discs like Halo Infinite

I don't know about the PS4, but on the xbox one the tell tall games are a bit of a scam. So the physical disk contains a season pass. BUT the download episodes have all been renamed!!!! This means you can download the episodes but they are not recognised, don't match the season pass and don't work. So you can buy a sealed physical copy of a telltale game and it doesn't work. You can only play the 1st episode which is on the disk. I was given a sealed copy of batman as a present. After 40-50 emails with the xbox help desk I was told the games will work if I buy the digital version. So no help just told to buy games digitally not physically.

24:30 - Not sure if this still the case, due to a potentially expired code, but the UK/EU release of the Dark Souls Trilogy included the soundtracks as a download code (3.8GB of 1400kbps wav files). But again, not sure if the download code is still valid. As you already have DS1, it may just be easier to get DS2 & DS3 Fire Fades edition (for the DLCs on disc).

There is actually a work around for your issue with IDs and region copy's I love in Europe but got a pal copy of gravity rush 2 and that has a dlc I was able to add an American account on to my PlayStation download the dlc there and it worked on my own pal account

What I have learned from this video is that most developers release unpolished games and then eventually make them better. From what I can tell now this still hasn’t improved into the next generation and we can’t keep letting them get away with this
