Same. I no longer send official cards only because I don't want the recipient to delete the picture uploaded in the Sent category. I do trades in the Postcrossing Forum. However, not many because what people offer I don't have interest in. However I like playing games you can call it in the Everything Else section

I have 230 at the moment I’ve been collecting for 5 years . I prefer the Facebook page instead instead of the post crossing website but that’s just my personal opinion I love the hobby

Hello Richard, I am so happy RU-vid recommended me your video. It was so interesting to watch! You were right, the first postcard from France you showed was underpaid. Postage rates were 1,40€ in 2020, they are now 1,50€, and it will increase to 1,65€ in 2022 😥 Postcrossing is going to be a very expensive hobby if continue like this! I like using old stamps in francs, so that I can use many of them instead of one in euros € ! Hope to see more videos about Postcrossing on your channel! 🙂

@Richard Philatelist haha yes, I forgot to mention that 1,40 stamp that was in francs not in euros 😂 maybe the person who used it didn't know, as the currency isn't clearly stated on the stamp. There is another stamp on the postcard but I don't see any information on it, that's weird 🤔 Yes, I still use that rate (0,15...francs) to convert into euros 😄
@@RichardPhilatelist Hello, I am French. In France, stamps on postcards (not on envelopes) are validated in 99.5% of cases, even if the value is insufficient. It’s not "legal" but it works, so a lot of French people on postcrossing use cheaper stamps. The old stamps are also much more beautiful than the few available in euros. Today in 2023 an international stamp costs €1.80.

One more thing you should know, I did receive postcards in an envelope on November 10 from my Finnish stamp swap partner on vacay in Spain with a snail sketch on cover and pretty soon :) Keep up the good work bro ... loving your content. Remember: do not write anything at the bottom of the card. Post offices run a barcode at the bottom. Postcrossing is very good at tracking down the register # if it is hard to read.
