Hey, I'm not sure if you ever get this at all, but the content you make acts as genuine comfort videos for me, something about the way you explain your plays, explain deck choices and just talk is incredibly relaxing, like you seem very laidback on the surface and I just wanted to thank you for that. I'm not a very laidback person and I have a lot of anxiety so your videos help. Anyways, I hope reading this brightens up your day in the same way your videos brighten up mine! Buh-bye!
I'm not personally a fan of playing bant decks, but I could happily spend all day watching you play them (and pretty sure I have done that at some point!).
@@NucleoTheNucleoDefinitely broken and it's pretty stupid that it's colorless imo. New staple for nearly every single EDH deck plus every 60-card deck that can get to 4 mana. I could be just salty that I play against it so often.
The one ring is the new Jace TMS, lower maintenance, the loss of life can be easily managed. The one ring protection in paper is a funny one for the judges.
I put your videos on to help me go to sleep! On one hand I miss out on a lot of the content, on the other, I have to watch it through twice tp see everything! Also I leave autoplay on and end up watching 5 videos every night!
Super small thing I noticed in round 3. Opponent clearly was running volc just to have 3 colours for prismatic ending. Didn’t matter, but hydroblast was a dead card that could have hurt you in the game.
Cant you use Halfling to cast Uro's escape cost? Think there was a spot where you couldve done that, though maybe you were holding up Karakas, i cant remember
Also 1:05:30, forgot to draw card from the ring :O although I guess it has a chance to brick the miracle terminus draw so I see why you didn't take it LOL
Just a heads up that at 1:58 your mic blips out for a second but seems to fix itself. Not sure if it happens again later (will edit in if it does) but figure it’s probably best you know incase it’s chronic.
31:40 their hand had to be stuff that didnt counter teferi, didnt draw extra cards or they wouldve likely played them, and wasnt any creatures. I think griselbrand actually drew like 7 lands
In game 1, forcing doomsday was a definite mistake. Since you could uncounterably put Teferi on the board, your opponent's daze was a dead card. You could have forced their Thoracle and won the game.
M1g1 - given the action is it slightly higher Ev to assume he has daze, let the doomsday resolve and try to plus force to buy you an extra turn or two to try to find an answer? I think you’re losing almost always there but 🤷♂️
The only thing I can see in the main deck that could stop a Thoracle win after Doomsday resolves is a miracle Terminus. I'm pretty sure the odds of them shoving unprotected Doomsday vs Savannah/Halfling is much higher than successfully casting a miracle Terminus when Thoracle hits the board. In that particular game they played Thoracle with 2 cards in their deck which means if Brian's 2 cards in hand were pitch cast Solitude or Endurance he could have stopped it (Brian has neither in his deck but opponent doesn't know that). However in game 2 we can see their pile had 2 Thoracles, so it's very possible this is the same pile they made in game 1 and didn't care what happened to the first Thoracle and would set up the second Thoracle to resolve with 0 cards in library if the first was answered.
@@thekilla1234 yeah I thought about it some more and I think it’s more likely oppo has land doomsday in hand and is just trying to wear out the counters than winning post resolved doomsday.
In round 5, why didn't you tap your rings on opponent's end step? It would have gotten you two cards closer to a potential terminus, and the life loss isn't a big deal as you are already dead on board.
