@@neilwek4231 suister o kae? I just wanted to come back and thank you for your tips on your introduction video.. They helped a lot. I just activated my profile. Dankie🙏🏽
Amazing video! Do you have any tips for starting to teach? I am from the UK and I want to start teaching English. I don't have much experience yet and any advice would be amazing 😅
Hey! I was just like you. RU-vid was my only hope in terms of learning how to start. My first lesson was shaky but not horrible. The only thing you need is Confidence. Engage with your students, understand them and know their goals with learning english. It becomes easier as you take more lessons. Go for it, you will enjoy it❤️
@@neilwek4231 Thank you, yes I don't have a lot of confidence right now but I know once I get more practise I will feel more confident! Thanks for the help
Hello Roster, while you’re updating your information there’s a part where it will require you to either upload your video, nor record on your video directly on preply. Hope it makes sense❤️
@@neilwek4231 That's the problem, there is no option, it just says "RECORD"only.l have tried all tricks but ended up uploading on You Tube, don't know if it will be received. I am so keen, it's two months now l have been trying but only stops there, can't proceed u know mos izinto zakhona.
Hello, I'm an American who is living in Kenya and just signed up to teach on Preply. Either their site is not intuitive, not working right, or i just can't find the answers that I need. Do they give you the lesson plans? Also, is there a teacher app that I need to download? I tried to get their app, but it seemed only for students. Thank you for any help that you can provide.
Hi, hope you’re well. Yes they do have lesson plans. It’s also nice to create your own once you get your students to better cater for their needs. I downloaded their app and logged in with my profile as a teacher, was easier to accept lessons, see any cancellations or just get reminders of my next class. Not sure if the app still works the same. All the best❤️
Hi, they do have. However its always nice to have your own as well. Once you start you will know what your students need, which will give you guidelines when creating your teaching material.
Hi, I hope I’m understanding correctly- Preply has ‘study guides’ to help with your classes. However, you can create your own lessons based on what each student needs. For example GOOGLE “English study material for 12 year olds or beginners”
