As someone who grew up hating dresses (still do) and being forced to do "girly" things when I very much did not want to, it makes my heart so happy that they offered them whatever they wanted on this trip. Thank you for advocating and Lilia for just being you!
They should have more options for the boys imo. It's fine if a girl dresses up in typical boy things, but you know people would side eye a boy in a dress.
I love that your sons paint their nails and your daughter dressed as charming. It’s really all just a form of artistic expression no different than tattoos or hair dying. You’ve created a safe place for them to explore.
As a 23yo nb bi person... I'm so proud of Lilia, and of you Jess, Chris, Gabe, Mimi, family for supporting her so well & allowing her to make the impact she has. My generation, my queer peers... well let's just say we're so excited for the next generations and how they are healing, building bridges for our society... and its thanks to social media giving a platform for the brave and loving parents of today's LGBTQIA+ youth, letting us who are scared, tired... mentally ill, chronically ill... boost your voices, your ideas, Lilia getting to be herself (or- since i can't be sure either, maybe themself.) Just... thank you so much. I've been watching since I started high school and I'm excited to keep watching all of you and supporting you in your endeavors in the future. ⚡️
This is incredible. My daughter reminds me of Lilia. Middle school, anime, questioning her sexual preferences. She's gone through stages, and currently considers herself to be straight. Her best friend id's as non binary. What I'm trying to say is, sometimes it's a phase, but whether it'll pass or not, supporting them in whatever stage they're in is not only important, but critical. Imagine all the kids whose parents overlook their identity as a stage? We need more parents like Jesssfam who will love and accept their kids regardless of anything and everything.
My daughter is the same as well she’s in middle school, likes anime and is also questioning her sexuality. She told us last year she wants to go by he or she. We are supporting her but we think it maybe a phase as well. Kids are trying to figure themselves out at that age and we just gotta be there for them.
I love this for Addi. It fits her so well💞 Save the ponytail and braid it into her real hair next time, I bet she'd love it!! Also, way to go Lilia!! It's awesome to see that she is living her best life and owning it! Much love to the whole fam as always💗💗
I do tend to agree with you Jess that Lilia’s experience opened Disney’s eyes and now boys and girls can choose to be a prince or a princess. 💗 My three year old nephew loves Elsa so my sister (his other aunt) bought him an Elsa costume complete with the sparkly shoes for Christmas; he absolutely loves it. He also loves cars, sports, and such but he is big into Frozen at the moment and I think it is awesome that his mom and dad, as well as our entire family supports his interests without judgement; just like you do with your children. 💗
@@80sCanadian exactly. I think her wanting to place the change on her daughters video is a bit much. Most kids probably have never seen her videos honestly.
My little brother is 9 months old, and ever since he was 3 months he is OBSESSED with Anna and Olaf from frozen. My grandma bought him frozen pillow cases, and today we were in the store and I was carrying him and he saw a set of frozen dolls and his face lit up so bright and he started bouncing, and kicking, and making the cutest noises so we got him it and he LOVES it. I also loved trains when I was little, and I liked the “boy” lego sets and it’s not like I am LGBTQ+ but that just shows you should let your kid like what they like because now I love wearing dresses, makeup, skincare, and all of the “girly” things. It’s not like I was shaped into a boy, I just liked what I liked and that’s fine. 😊❤
@@nancyfarkas3592 that’s not what she was saying, she wasn’t saying it changed kids, she was trying to say that it showed some parents, and some of the Disney employees who do the makeovers that they should start offering princes to girls, and princesses to boys.
Jess I believe you are right, it just makes sense.. like for Disney to contact you personally.. and they didn't offer the packages before but now they do... Yeah that little girl changed the way Disney does business..you should be proud momma
Jess, you truly have no idea how much your videos mean to me. Your videos literally heal me more than you will ever know. I grew up in a VERY small and dysfunctional family whom I am now zero contact with. You inspire me to not only be the best person I can be, but to strive to build a large loving family of my own and to one day be the most positive and influential person to my future children. You are an inspiration, a role model, and I sincerely look up to you Jessica. Much love and wishes of continued happiness and bliss for you and your family!
But this isn't anything new. Disney has had gay day in June since 1991. I have friends who work at BBB and nothing has changed, they've been letting kids dress however they want for decades. It's awesome that they do it but it's not new and it certainly didn't happen because Lilia chose a prince costume once.
Based on multiple other comments on this video that's not the case tho. They/Lilia very well may not have been the cause of the change but it has changed in the last few years.
@@Donna754 but Jessica is saying that Lilia was the reason for the change. I'm not saying this was an option since 1991 but it has been an option for many years now, I've heard of people doing the same thing Lilia did years ago. So Jessica is lying.
@@themeltedchocolate She’s not lying. If you actually listened to the whole thing she said she says that’s what she’s believing and that it would be cool. But she also says a few times she’s not entirely sure and that it could be location based which is why she asked for others experiences. She based it on it not being offered to them last time in one location.
@@Donna754 You want us to believe she NEVER knew this was an option before? Come on. As many times as she has taken her kids to Disney and such don't tell me she did not know. The point is that she is placing the change on her daughter and it is not true. She thinks that because ONE time her daughter was in a viral video wearing a prince costume that Jess bought herself that somehow Disney changed their minds and started offering it because of her kid.
@@defriedpings my daughter went through this when she was lilia’s age, she told me that she was non binary because she’s not girly, now she doesn’t care about pronouns and is just a normal girl. They are confusing children by pushing their woke agenda.
Disney is making the experience more magical by letting kids pick. I wonder if there will ever be more of an experience for boys. Like there is for girls. But I definitely think it had to have been lilia! They even used the exact same prince outfit.😂
I’m so happy that Lilia being who she truely is has helped other children help them be who they are as well. Great job Lilia, you have inspired me and others
It’s crazy that because of Covid Addelyn hasn’t done BBB since she was 2/3. (I think I remember her doing it at DisneyLand at 2 almost 3) It’s right up her alley!! What a magical experience for her 🥰. And how fun to share it with cousin bestie Laney!! 💕
I went on a Disney Dream Cruise right before you and Lilia went on the Disney Wish. I went to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and only the princess option was offered. We didn't get the option to be the prince, but I think Lilia's video might've changed that! I checked and I couldn't find the Animator's Palate chairs anywhere, but I did read that if you found the right furniture maker, they could probably make them for you. The cruise ship does sell the Animator's Palate paintbrush knives, however.
I love how even the Disney Cruise is helping with the LGBTQ community and making people that form part of that group more comfortable to be on that ship.
As a girl who grew up wearing dresses all the time and not loving it I would have decided to be a prince as well, way to go Lillia, I bet you helped make a great change, also if I had a son and a daughter I’d want my son to have the opportunity to be a prince, they need to include this, we have princes and princesses and both can be worn by either depending on what the individual would like.
Disney offered these options before her video ever came out. I think Jess wants her kid to be more influential then she is.And she is definitely not the first singer to be "themselves"!
Hi Jesssfam good morning everyone happy Tuesday morning and I hope you having amazing day today and I just wanted to say that you all amazing Supporter
You can still be yourself and not be gay it's so werid to me to think that people have to feel they have to stand up and say that they are gay to get attention so someone can say they are happy that they are showing who they are really are, you are who you were born you dont need to change to get attention, what is this world coming too, such a culture fab. There will be somthing else in a decades time to talk about prob about people who are confused of who they are. So messed up
Glad your boys are enjoying the cruise and your family. I cruised DCL 29 times with my Dad both of us adults with cruises 30th and 31st booked on Wish in April 2023 and 32nd booked on Dream in October 2023
Heyy, jess, I heard someone else mention those wrist straps too and sometimes when I've seen the the go-pros selling I'm sure I've seen the strap in with them as I nearly bought myself one for when i was biking but had to give that up a few year's back so didn't get one, but you can get the straps that go across your chest, head and arm, I'm pretty sure you can get helmet attachments too for if you want to put them on your helmet for bike riding when out with the kid's!!!! XxxxX
First! Btw I absolutely love watching your videos jesss and time has absolutely flown by cause I remember the first video I watched was posted like 4 years ago which means I have been watching for 4 years!
Hey Jess I have been seeing a lot of hate comments lately and I just wanted to tell you to not listen to them. You are a great mom and content creator. Keep doing what you do. Love you guys!!!❤️
I think the towel art on the bed at the end was either an ostrich or an emu that's my guess anyway🙃🤷♀️ you guys look like you're having such a fun time I'm so happy for you and your family! I always enjoy your videos I'm really bummed that you don't have the wrist part for the GoPro I would love to see the water slide!!! Next time😉
I Love these videos!!!! 🥰💕☀️🌴 It is so fun! 🎉 My favorite shot was of the sea from looking out the cruise ship. It reminded me of when we have gone on cruises… SOoooooo Wonderful!!!!! 🌊🎉🎉🎉☀️🎉🌴🌊 Of course, I’ve never been on a Disney Cruise and my, HOW GRAND and WONDERFUL!!!!! 😄😀👍🏽💕☀️🌴🌴🌴 ~Enjoy! And, soak it allllll in! 💕
4-5 days is not a lot of school. And she's already addressed the fact that they go to a Montessori school that encourages experiences and learning in real life
@@Donna754 I am not sure that means skipping school though. Montessori or not they still need to learn. And Im not sure a disney cruise is teaching them much except having fun and eating whatever you want.
@@nancyfarkas3592 1. Might I suggest looking up the definition of encouraged (when it comes to experience and travel) 2. Just say you’re either jealous or don’t like Disney/cruising instead 3. Based on the most resent video their schools were closed for a few of the days due to the storms in California so they ended up missing even less since no one could go.
Hi Jesssfam If Lilia Love Disney So Much I Think She Should Attend Disney College Program Or Attend Disney University In Orlando Florida I Bet This Will Make Your Dream Come True Even More Bigger And I Hope She Will Get Her Future Dream Job In Disneyland Or Disney World Or On Disney Cruise In The Future
Did you guys see the "Beauty and the Beast" special that was on TV a few weeks ago? I watched it because Shania Twain was playing Mrs Potts. I thought of you guys when I watched it.
She definitely did! I was thinking that when they were talking about it. Lilia was Moana and I feel like Addie was Ariel but I could be wrong. But i know she did it in Hawaii
@@brief402 ummmm… they were in Hawaii four months ago? Lol but if you go to the video “we don’t want to get escorted off the property..” they did in fact do something similar to bippidi boutique but it was technically not the same exact thing-
I would never force my child to or nudge them in anu direction other then what first and foremost matters more then what type of clothing you like to wear is to make sure they know that the person you are inside is a reflection of how you treat others. As young young kids grow through finding out who they will b as they learn to deal with growing pains and the hard times often can be scary while in that moment , we often will learn the most from those moments wen you start to realize the clothes you like to wear or the style you rock, and yes including your orientation are all parts of you but do not define you nor should they ever think one or the other is somehow going to get the child more praise it attention. One girl who chooses the dress is treated like oh ok wow your pretty, but if one chooses the pants suit everyone is like wooh way to go your decision is somehow more admirable because it is treated as if Anyone is gay is going to want to dress in the suit or all the straight people will want the dress it is coth it is worn it does not change the person the cloth is draped on. I'm sorry I feel like the kids who aren't acting in the traditional toes of masculinity or femininity are being lifted up with more attention and cloud Disney some others are treating people like their orientation one way the other changes what's on the inside and people who may feel differently are scorned. their different view should be given the same amount respect even they are the boring girl who wants the feminne dress or the boy who is masculine. Now if a boy gets up with nail polish and a dress he treated as the conquering hero when the boy who wears the suit is pretty much ignored like the cloth hanging on their body somehow changes the person raised to hold their views dear ...while you know what if the don't agree with your their view is just as as valid and the popularity of either decision I'm sorry it seems like wether true or not the kid who is little introverted or just a bit of a stoic type kid maybe maybe wants to feel more acceptable or also would like to be told that he is brave and coming out as identifying as something other then boringold straight is the talk of the town like he just made a moral leap
