You seem to think Sparking! ZERO is the sequel to Raging Blast, but it's infact a sequel to Budokai Tenkaichi 3, which i'm tempted to believe you haven't played. The Budokai Tenkaichi series is called the Sparking! series in Japan. Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi is called Dragon Ball Z Sparking! Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 is called Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! NEO Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is called Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! METEOR Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! ZERO is the sequel to METEOR. It is quite literally Budokai Tenkaichi 4. The only difference is the name wasn't localized this time. Above every single trailer's title screen, it says "Budokai Tenkaichi Series". If they removed the other forms of Goku, that would be a massive screw-up that would ultimately make Sparking! ZERO an inferior sequel. Yes, the forms do play differently. Not only are their attacks, abilities, and transformations different (cosmetically and mechanically), but they take completely different places in the meta. Even their battle damage is different. Even attacks that are named the same are different. Goku (Mid)'s Spirit Bomb is much more different than Goku (End)'s. Even Goku (Early) has his own Spirit Bomb which is the one used in the Saiyan Saga. They have made the right decision. You are free to have your own opinion, but you definitely don't speak for the majority, and your issue with the game boils down to "It has too much content", which is such a ridiculous complaint that I struggle to understand the logic behind it. I'd like to hear your response and perspective. Maybe you are right and I just don't have enough information.

I understand what you're saying but all Gokus have different gameplay. Even Goku base of DBZ and base of Super are different. Even transformations cutscenes to the same form, damage with the same form, etc... so.. I understand what they did. I hope for OVAs characters. 30 or 40 new characters are obvious from those missing. Like transformations of Mid. Gohan, Cell transformations, Boo, etc.. Just dont know the other 20's.

I only felt this way with the Super characters. Every transformation from DBS are just recolors with zero differences. I don’t even know why they made the two UI Goku’s different. The only difference is hair color and that’s it.
I get where you're coming from, but Goku is the face of Dragon Ball, and like him or not, the series wouldn't have been as huge as it is without him and his multiple forms.
Most DBZ fighting games have multiple gokus, and vegetas, Fighterz had 5 (6 if you count Black). If this was a sequel to "Budokai", you could say it's too much, because Budokai had more customization with capsules so they could create Goku variants for each saga, but Tenkaichi? That's just how things are. You could just be happy they actually have unique attacks with proper animations, instead of "Energy Volley but Blue" or "Meteor Combination but with 3 more punches".
Has this not always been the Sparking series formula? I'm not trying to be condensing since I get what you're saying. But I literally don't know what to say besides it is what it is. Personally I don't think its worth complaining about especially when considering it's the 4th game into the franchise. If you don't like it that's fine. But it's not that big a deal If were being real.

Kid Goku, early z Goku, middle of the series Goku, end of z Goku, super Goku, (early z would be beginning of very end of dragon ball through the beginning of the namek arc. Middle of the series would be the rest of the namek arc and the frieza saga. End of Z would be the Cell saga through the Buu saga. Super is well super so god ki and godly transformations and the ultra instincts.)
Ehhh well yeah that actually would still work I think could use the similar custom menu you had in dbz tenki 3. But I’m not down with less gokus they need the different moves sets for normal attacks to differentiate them or it will be to similar so you do still need goku(early, mid, end, super, ultra, gt if they have them) they need the distinct fighting styles they had in the previous games

I actually agree with you about the charcater choices they couldve made most of them costume swaps to allow other chracters. I would rather less duplicates its just purposely bloating the roster
Costume swaps are that, costumes. Goku nid, Goku early and Goku end are not the same character, they have different move sets and comboes that match with their chronological time of appearance.
They could have a DB Goku, DBZ Goku, SSJ Goku, SSJ2 Goku, SSJ3 Goku, SSJ4 Goku, GT kid Goku, one SSJ Blue, and One SSJ God, One UI Omen and one Mastered UI Goku. I don't care if they have different moves I would rather be able to swap between the characters moves and pick the ones I want to run with another character. Just because a saiyan saga goku used the bending Kamehameha doesn't mean super goku doesn't know how to
