Thats a great question! I struggled at the start of my career and still do at times but its all about learning what works for you with time. I try to be conscious to not over commit myself to plans after work and keep at least one night a week for me time. I used to feel so overwhelmed with trying to fit everything into my crazy calendar. I also try to be a lot more productive on weekends now than I did right after graduating.

You are so welcome! Try and speak to your boss about hosting virtual education events during quarantine. It's low investment and will show them that you are committed to educating others about the non-profit and hopefully bring in more donations!

Hi Erica, Great question! You want to come across genuinely and interested in learning more about them. Don't ask for a job or internship until after you make the connection. My suggestion is to say you would love to learn more about their career journey and gain any advice they have to offer over a zoom or phone call.
