My rain chain made from Dollar tree buckets and nylon chain 

These are little $1 metal buckets from Dollartree, spray painted to match, drilled out a hole on the bottom. Then using s hooks and a strong players to hook them at even intervals on a heavy nylon chain. You could use metal... Hubby attached it where a normal downspout would go in the winter. We will leave this up spring summer and fall. About $35 total for the entire project.
