Ramadan Mubarak! I have the exact thoughts about how some people go overboard shopping and food before Ramadan starts. Even I don't get it because Ramadan isn't about stocking up more food.
May Allah keep you all from nazar. You're family is filled with love and care I can sense it. You and your husband are so attached to your kids and are there together doing different tasks and its beautiful to see it. May Allah keep you from evil eyes. Read aytul kursi and 4 khul daily and put on and read along surah baqarah. Insha Allah no nazar can come upon on you. Love from your brit sister living in Canada x
From what I believe and noticed is that you gained a lot of subscribers and viewers from your daily Ramadan blogs last year. I watched regularly because you were so consistent. Of course I'd love to watch again but do what's best for you. There's nothing like watching others share the same hardship and struggles. It gets us through Ramadan 👍
I personally think people go and bulk buy stuff before ramadan because it makes it easier for them in ramadan not to go to the shops and they can use that time to pray a bit more.. also, due to the typical english weather its usually boiling in ramdan which many people start suffering from headaches due to the dehydration.. so i dont think they would want to go out and buy food for ifthaar time or sehri Ps i enjoy watching ur vids💜💙
TBH that is also what I was initially thinking as well. But now I see that my mom usually goes grocery shopping three times a week because we are such a big family with older children. Even when we aren't eating the whole day, food finishes really quickly. We stock up so that we don't have to go three times a week and can rather spend that 1 or 2 hours worshipping, especially considering my mother has diabetes and its hard for her to fast anyway. Plus you also need ingredients to pre-make samosas and rolls. I feel like although Ramadan isn't about the food, these special foods put children in the Ramadan spirit. Younger children, like my brother, often ask why we don't have a Ramadan spirit like others have a Christmas spirit, these special decorations and food shows them that Ramadan can also be somewhat fun, along with being spiritual. Sorry about the rant!
Zeinah u deffo inspire me to get married and b an awesome mum n everything. Also I've loved having house decorations for ramadhan n Eid but never have done. In sha allah with my hubby n kids in sha allah one day. Jazakallah x Ramadhan Mubarak
Hey love. It depends like on my side we do send food to the masjid every single day for iftar so we usually buy extra during ramadhan. Ramadhan Kareem ❤
I also stock up on food right before ramadan just to make it easier on myself. I have 3 kids under the age of 4 and with no drivers license I dont wanna drag them along to go food shopping as this just takes so much energy. But I do get your point on people who still go to the stores regardless
Honestly I didn’t shop and wont be doing a big shop for Ramadan. I will just buy as i need.. this way i wont waste food and will save money. I think people are scared to be too tired while fasting to shop so they shop all at once.. and so there head knows the cupboards are full of delicious iftar foods lol. I love what you said to eat breakfast for Iftar!!!!
People buy more food than usual as in my family this is the only time we would all go to my mums house daily whereas the rest of the year everyone is busy with their lives and we would only get together once or twice a month. I am sure this is the same for a lot of households. Also people probably do a big shop before Ramadan as it's better to buy in bulk and get small things that run out every few days in-between, e.g. milk, eggs, salands, fruits
Agree on the overboard with food thing. If someone is actually going to batch cook in bulk to prepare in advance and give them more ibadah time, then it can be some what justified (especially with a big family). I think people just get carried away with the excitement of the upcoming festivities and think that more exciting food in large quantities will make the month more special. Inshallah we all become more mindful and spend more money and time on charity and worship, rather than fancy iftars and suhoors. Shahr-Ramadhan Kareem to you and your family inshallah!
Ramadan kareem to you all may we all have a bless ramadan and Allah forgive our sin. I do think like you and if it was just for me i would not prepare anything but i have children that are fasting and hubby also so just for them i prepare variety of cakes but alhamdulilah nothing is wasted i share the surplus of food With friends and family
Omg I hate when I forget cloths in the washing machine and they start to stink. How do you get rid of that smell?? If you put more detergent wouldn't it smell worse? P.S Ramadan Mubarak abayo😊💕

Love your vlogs your on point on Ramadan shop my neighbours do the same always stock up before Ramadan then still go every week to shop I never do that I just eat normal like I would do any other day or month nothing special then on eid make loads of food and celebrate and stuff whats the point in keeping a fast all day then stuff your face that’s not the purpose of keeping a fast nearly every house hold will make samosas Kababs rice pakoras like literally every day in Ramadan like no leave that for eid all day there minds will be on what am I going to eat when my fast opens and they just make loads of food people need to just stop and read Quran pray and make loads of Duas I went to this Asian ladies house once in Ramadan and at like 1pm to like evening they were cooking and in the kitchen it was time to pray and they were so busy cooking they didn’t pray that’s all it is to some people is fast eat and don’t pray or read Quran or do anything what’s the point in fasting then but on the day of judgment they will have to answer to allah
