My Raw and Real Experience With Cervical Incompetence and Infant Loss | Evelyn’s Birth Story 

Thank You for sharing your story. In 1971 I lost a Baby Girl. She was a full term Breach . I named her Roberta Lynn. She would be 53 if she were here. I miss her . And think of her often. So even though it has been so many years since I lost her I know exactly how you are feeling. The feeling of losing a baby or a child never goes away no matter how many years have gone by. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Thank you for sharing your story. I just want to encourage you. I, too, had an incompetent cervix during my first pregnancy. I was 20 years old and expecting twins, a boy, and a girl. Everything was going great. I had no problems at all. I began to have contractions (I didn't realize I was in labor because there was no pain). By the time I realized something was wrong, I had already dilated 7 centimeters. Within 20 minutes, I had fully dilated to 10 centimeters. Still not one ounce of pain. My daughter was coming first, breech, so they took me to the OR for an emergency C-section. I was 26 weeks along. I had never heard of an incompetent cervix before. My daughter survived; however, my son died 10 days later. ❤ I had three more pregnancies, and not one of them did my cervix fail. I don't understand why it happened the first time. I completely understand your wide range of emotions. I had the same ones! I see that you went on to have two more children. Praise God! May the Lord bless you and your sweet family.

Oh honey, I am so so sorry for your loss! My daughter-in-law went thru pretty much the same thing, I went in with her to hear the heartbeat, we were excited, but there was no heartbeat. She and my son were devastated. I stayed with them a few days until the baby came. I hurt so bad, I couldnt' say or do anything! I am so so very sorry for your loss!!! 🌷

This is such a wonderful video and I’m sure helpful for others, my daughter had premie twins during Covid and they tried to stop her husband from being there! No visitors and very strict protocol….your sweet Evelyn will always be with you, such a peaceful birth and such loving parents ❤

I'm so sorry for the pain you went through. How blessed that she was alive when she was born, and you got that time with her. My daughter was born June of 2022, at 41 weeks. My water broke and we went in to the hospital, only to find that her heartbeat had already stopped. She was so beautiful and chubby, a perfect newborn. But how I wish I could have had even a few minutes to look into her eyes and hear her breathe and cry.

Im 75 years old now but at age 20 i lost a set of twin boys. I was not allowed to hold my babies. I had pneumonia so the first baby passed before they would let me get out of bed to go to the nursery. When the last baby died i put up a fuss to go to the nursery. The nurse held my baby up close to the glass window. I held my arms out pleading to hold my baby. The nurse shook her head no and turned her back to me and walked away. We had a funeral and they're at rest in our family area at the cemetery. All of you mom's that have lost a baby and got to hold them are so blessed. The memories must warm your heart. My sons would be 54 now. Thank you for sharing your story of loss. Knowing that you are not alone helps to get through all of the emotional agony and loss. Thank you for sharing.

Me crying when she was so little and she couldn't see 5hen she died but now she is in a better pace now and this video probably help so e people that had to suffer over that

2014 I lost twin baby girls at 22 weeks. I want to give you hope I carry two rainbow babies full-term 🌈🌈 2015,2018 I was considered high risk and I demanded a Cerclage. Even tho dr’s said they were not sure if it was IC i couldn’t risk it happening again.
