My Re-thought Predictions for Retro Tracks in “Mario Kart 9” 

Obviously this list has its flaws, everylist does, but this is definitely one of my favorites. You organized the tracks well and thought which track goes where, not alot of others actually did that

This list is actually very close to my own. The only “glaring flaw” that I see is Wii Luigi Circuit. I would absolutely rather see DK Summit in its place.

So, here's my thoughts on your choices: *SPOILERS* *Shell Cup:* DS Mario Circuit: I want it back a lot but it's too difficult for the first cup. Vanilla Lake 2: I wanna see Vanilla Lake return, but I think Vanilla Lake 1 would fit better. This one feels too hard to recreate (also it's too difficult for shell cup) WII Luigi Circuit: REALLY? Not only is the track kind of boring, but YOU CANT HAVE TWO CIRCUITS IN THE SAME CUP! Daisy Hills: That works well. *Banana Cup:* Rock Rock Mountain: YES Sweet Sweet Canyon: This works, I don't mind how you moved it up one difficulty. N64 Wario Stadium: Good Choice! I think the cup choice is good too! Toad's Factory: Another Good Choice! *Leaf Cup:* Mushroom City: Good Choice! Wario Shipyard: A good choice and underrated track! Electrodrome: Good choice! *Lightning Cup:* Sunshine Airport: Too hard for Lightning Cup Wario Colosseum: Good choice! DS Bowser's Castle: That would work, though the GameCube version would be nice too! GBA Rainbow Road: Makes Sense to follow the trend, they better not skip it! *DLC Tracks:* Luigi Raceway: eh... Choco Island 2: I would love to see Choco Island remade again, but maybe use Choco Island 1. Rosalina's Ice World: never cared for the track personally, but wouldn't mind seeing it return. Dolphin Shoals: BEST TRACK! (Not THE best but I really like it!) Sunset Wilds: BRING THIS BACK! Waluigi Pinball: Would love to see this with anti-gravity! 3DS remake was boring! Dino Dino Jungle: I think 3DS did a good job with it, we don't NEED it back. WII Rainbow Road: I guess it would work as DLC, idk. *Conclusion* Good list, definitely better than the last one! Picked all the tracks that deserve to return. Difficulty was still a bit off. Only main complaint was most of the Mushroom Cup choices. Good job balancing how tracks per game there were, by the way!

I think Double Dash's or MK64's Rainbow Road should be DLC instead of MKWii's Rainbow Road.

I've comprised a list of retro tracks I've been working on for some time. I will list what I've come up with so far. The first 2 tracks honestly, DS Mario Circuit is a Star Cup track (yes this is true) and then you slap on SNES Vanilla Lake 2 which is a Special Cup track. Everything else is thought out well though.

Good predictions you have there bout the Retro Tracks in the Next Official Mario Kart game for the Switch, but SNES Vanilla Lake 2 more so would probably be in the Leaf or Lightning Cups, having originally come from the Special Cup.

This list was great! You put a lot of thought into which track goes where. Only complaint I have is placement in the Shell Cup. Most Mario Kart games don't have two circuits in the same cup, and some of the placements were a little too hard to be in the Shell Cup. Other than that, great list! Before I tell you my predictions, I am going to tell you that the DLC is jumbled around because I think they will be in the same cups as some Nitro DLC tracks so they're kinda placed in random spots. Here are my predictions: *Shell Cup* SNES: Koopa Beach I (I think it would be easy enough and make a good starters track.) Wii: Toad's Factory (I know this would be a little too hard for the Shell Cup, but I picked it for this because it's really fun, and I want people to be able to access it from the start of the game.) DS: Shroom Ridge (A really fun and easy track, I think it would make a great beginning to this game.) 3DS: Daisy Hills (Because why not) *Banana Cup* WiiU: Thwomp Ruins (Fun track of a medium difficulty. Not to mention how flipping GORGEOUS it is.) 3DS: Alpine Pass (First of all, that's Rock Rock Mountain's European name. I think this track is really refreshing, and would love to see it brought back in HD, seeing how beautiful it already is.) GCN: Mushroom City (My second favorite track from Double Dash, think it would be a great addition.) SNES: Mario Circuit IV (I love this track, and was kind of weirded out when it wasn't in Mario Kart 8.) *Leaf Cup* Wii: DK's Snowboard Cross (European name for DK Summit. This could be the snow-themed retro track they add to the game. It's my favorite snow track besides Mt. Wario.) WiiU: Dolphin Shoals (Do I even have to explain why this NEEDS to be brought back?) GBA: Lakeside Park (Love this track and the fact that the volcano erupts every so often is really cool. Just remove the troll jump panels.) DS: Mario Circuit (A great Mario Circuit with a difficulty that we don't often see in the Circuit tracks.) *Lightning Cup* N64: Wario Stadium (They will add this track. For some reason, it's the only one left.) GCN: Wario Colosseum (Maybe because of the length of this track, there could be three sections like in N64: Rainbow Road. Usual reasons for selecting this course.) Wii: Bowser Castle (This is by far the best Bowser Castle. Please bring it back.) GBA: Rainbow Road (We all know it'll come back and Nintendo will continue with their Rainbow Road trend.) *DLC* N64: Choco Mountain (Who else agrees that they should actually do something different to this track? They did nothing in DS...) GBA: Cheep Cheep Island (Because why not) GCN: Yoshi Circuit (Such a cool track, I know it's been in MK8 and MKDS, but I wanna see it back again.) N64: Bowser Castle (One of my favorite Bowser Castles of all time, please make it DLC.) SNES: Vanilla Lake II (I've never been a fan of the Vanilla Lakes, but I can see why people want it back.) WiiU: Sunshine Airport (Again, do I have to explain why it HAS to be back?) 3DS: Rosalina's Ice World (Nice snow level, think it would be good DLC.) DS: Figure-8 Circuit (Y'all are gonna hate me for this.)

If there is one way you could improve this, I'd suggest taking DS Mario Circuit and swapping it with Sweet Sweet Canyon. Unless you make major changes, I don't think Mario Circuit in that game is a shell cup level course, and it has a ton of sharp turns that may be a bit difficult for newer players. Also at least on the surface, having Vanilla Lake 2 in the shell cup seems fairly suspect. Not only was the original map in the Special Cup, but it was arguably one of the most annoying in frustrating maps in the game (granted less so than Vanilla Lake 1, but still). Other than the Shell Cup, I think this list is fantastic.

Good prediction but I think the title might. MIGHT!!! not be called Mario kart 9, reason being that mk8D is actually hitting top best selling switch games so far, if they did call the next Mario kart game "Mario kart 9" then mk8D will lose everything plus the best selling game so far. I think they would call it Mario kart switch, Mario kart world or Mario kart Nitro.

neat list, but i've some nitpicks and suggestions • *SNES Vanilla Lake 2* should be banana cup at lowest, preferably leaf or lightning • *Wii Luigi Circuit* - why? after DS i don't think we should have more than one circuit in one cup • *U Sunshine Airport* - i personally think it should switch places with u electrodrome or be bumped down to banana • *DS Bowser's Castle* - i like ds bowser's castle, but it'd likely be second track due to a pattern within third special cup tracks that suggests 3DS Maka Wuhu is next

I would love colosseum and mushroom city to come back

Mushroom city and wario colluseum are not gonna be in the same game together as a retro track because both rainbow road and howsers castle haven't been a retro track so whats better is they use wario colluseum or mushroom city with Bowser's castle and what hadn't been used will be in Mario Kart 10.
